I don’t really have a problem with Bryce Young! But Young would need to get in the weight room with a good trainer and nutritionist to bulk up probably another 15 lbs. But I know that doesn’t mean he’d have anymore durability. Between Levis and Richardson it’s front office personnel team preference, but Richardson did blow everyone away. But Levis and Richardson is disadvantaged because the talent around them was lacking compared to Young and Stroud!

I’m probably on my own but this is JMO! I’d be going for the 1st pick because I think that’s probably the only way you’d snag CJ Stroud because I believe he’s the #1 rated QB in this draft. The trade package would probably need to be 2023: 1st round and (1 of the) 2nd round pick; 2024: 1st round and 2nd round pick!

IMO To keep Boze as a panthers or any team you’d have to pay him around $7.5-10M, but I know no less than $7.5M+.

Coaching Staff: Final Pieces (as of 2-23-23)
razorwolf replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
IMO Id prefer a different S&C, but don’t know who. -
IMO I’d like to see Thomas Brown, TE/AHC- Rams; Become the OC for the Panthers but also be named as the TE coach (OC/TE)! But I’d also like to see the Panthers (Reich) bring back Jeff Nixon as WR coach!

I just read he turned down Carolina offer for a position in the organization to stay a nfl analyst
-
V.P. of Player Personnel Since the position is open now I’d offer it to Dan Orlovsky. He has worked around former General Manager and scout personnel. I think he could fill this position and be good at it. JMO

Okay I just wanted to hear other’s opinions. I don’t know about trading up, and then if the guy we want is gone then try to trade with another team back to later pick to regain draft capital.
-
Just a question to anyone. I’ve read different places about what the colts would probably have to give up to move to #1 (23: 1st, 2nd, 5th; 24: 1st), but I figure the bears are going to want more draft capital than that! But if the bears would accept a offer of that magnitude I’d think I’d be willing to give up (2) 1st (23’ & 24’), 2nd (62), and 5th (148) to move up to #1! What is your opinion on this scenario?
-
Well if you trade up to #3, and CJ is drafted before #3 then trade that pick to someone else if you can!
-
IMO i would try to trade up to #3 to try to get CJ, and let Indy jump to #1 if they want and give the farm in draft capital!

Panthers hire Josh McCown as QB coach
razorwolf replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I keep seeing comments about DJ as a wide receiver, but he had 1000 yd seasons with teddy bridgewater and the rotational QB year. Last season was the first year he didn’t reach 1000 yds since his rookie year! -
Panthers hire Josh McCown as QB coach

this is just my ideal! What I was getting at is I wouldn’t give up more than (2) 1st round picks, (1) of the 2nd round picks this year, some other picks but not the farm, and maybe a player but rather not! -

JMO Id be willing to give up for the right QB (which I think is CJ Stroud) 2023: 1st round and (1) of our 2nd round; 2024: 1st round, (mid round to late round), maybe include a conditional pick! -
I hope Luke Kuechly comes back as a Defensive Quality Control coach at least. It would be nice having him back with the panthers even is it is as a coach.

JMO If the panthers can sign Jimmy Garoppolo to a cap friendly deal I think he would make the best veteran presence QB! -
Brian Burns name was mentioned a couple of times I think the panthers would want at least 4 picks for him (2) 1st, (2) mid round or (mid and late round)

IMO For the panthers to get CJ Stroud they would need to move up to #3 pick with Cards to get a head of the colts, #5 pick with Seahawks, or #6 with Lions ahead of raiders and falcons! Our new QB coach Josh McCown (which I believe will make a great coach) is very high on CJ, and I feel he’s the mostly like QB to become a franchise QB in this draft!

JMO Staff Id like to see join the staff: OC: Brian Johnson QB: Kevin Patullo DB: Kris Richard CB: Marquand Manuel Asst. LB: Luke Kuechly

Joe Person on possible coordinator candidates
razorwolf replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
IMO I’d like to see Duce Staley as OC he’s a coach that’s been around the NFL for a time. I think he’d be able to fill that role and be great at it. And he deserves the opportunity. I’d like to see Kris Richard get a shot at DC or hire an experienced coach like Vic Fangio. Like I said these are just my opinions. -
IMO I’d prefer Shane Steichen as head coach! There is several different coaches that would make a good OC’s: Former HC’s, up and comers, and current/former OC’s. Some DC candidates: Vic Fangio, Kris Richards, Sean Desai, etc. The candidate of Mike Kafka is his KC Chief ties!
-
IMO HC: Steichen or Kafka OC: Greg Roman DC: Vic Fangio
-
IMO One person I’d like to see get an interview is Joe Lombardi, OC-Chargers. It has nothing to do with his last name, but he has proven himself as a coach!
