  1. What scares me is what happens if Fitts is there and we know the importance of OT. Go for Fitts? Or stick with the program and get a solid OT. Or, sell the Fitts pick to someone and get lots for it. Lot of options to be had. Sewell, Slater, Fitts. Really in a good spot draft wise because any higher, we would've been pressured more to get a QB, any further back and our options are less.
  2. I see the question now. Doesn't change why he answered in the way he did.
  3. Really? He did that because maybe he doesn't want to be defined by how much melanin he has or the lack of how much his wife has. I'd like to hear/see the exact question posed to him.
  4. So basically a 2nd for the kid. Now we pray that Fitts falls to us or just go OL right? If Fitts or highest rated OL is gone, use the 8th to trade back as some have mentioned. That 8th pick is still worth a lot.
  5. They just got $1400+ free money
  6. After what my wife went through, this was the least I could do.
  7. Frozen peas. Rotate bags and just don’t do anything. People that think they can just jump up and do everything day two is what get people in most trouble. Only real issue I ever have seen with friends are 1) overdoing and lifting and 2) doc nicked a vessel and caused a hematoma. That one was bad but my buddy should’ve gotten seen way before it got as bad as it did
  8. I think you should put this in an op-ed in a Houston newspaper.
  9. You have to make a choice here. Either you believe these women or no. If the texts are provided, that could help determine that but lets say they don't. Do you believe them? Either way, it's going to be a distraction.
  10. Did you read it? He failed all but three classes in four years and yet still was in the upper 50% of the graduating class.
  11. Good lord. Baltimore HS Student fails all but 3 classes over 4 years, yet still ranks near top half of class. Baltimore public schools have failed a generation. https://www.yahoo.com/news/baltimore-hs-student-fails-3-211655068.html
  12. https://www.kqed.org/news/11862469/after-leading-school-closures-berkeley-teachers-union-president-spotted-dropping-daughter-off-at-in-person-preschool One reason no one takes them seriously.
  13. I'm not in that industry and on no timeline for my little project, but that can't be sustainable I wouldn't think. We could be leading into a another stagflation scenario (what happened during Carter years). Shouldn't raise taxes right now because stagflation came from inflation and slow growth. Can't risk the slow growth aspect right now.
  14. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/24/opinion/covid-school-closures-children.html?smid=tw-share I don't think it should be 100% be dumped onto the democrats, but the simple fact is most school boards, administrators, teachers' unions, etc are democrats. We've moved beyond flatten the curve to something completely different. There is no doubt the wealth gap will only widen by promoting these generations of grade school students.
  15. Building materials have skyrocketed. Low interest rates. You have a seller's market right now and building costs for new homes are driving up costs. 4x8 sheet of OSB which should be around $10 bucks right now is up around $30. Was going to build a storage area, but on hold until prices go down. No hurry.
  16. Gotcha. Good they shut it down. Make it an a la carte function of schools and if it's an issue with cost, make those on F&RL not pay but charge those that can.
  17. Taxes should go down right? These are removed services.
  18. Horrible accident. Hope he heals up quickly and completely. Do PGA wins in the Senior tour count towards the 82 number to beat Sam Snead?
  19. Wife is volunteering to give vaccine shots today at a church location in an underserved community. All Cooper has to do is make teachers a priority and he can make it happen. In fact, that could be done by Biden as well. Kid suicide rates are skyrocketing. Crime among the same demo is too. Large numbers of kids have NEVER signed into a single zoom class. They should be leaders and get prioritization to teachers as front line health care workers were/are.
  20. No in-person schooling for quite a while. Districts have got to be saving tons of money in personnel, food, utilities, etc. Is that money being reimbursed? When my daughter went to virtual while housed in college dorm/meal plan, they reimbursed us the money for the remainder of that year. Why aren't taxpayers receiving that money back. Or was it appropriated to providing chromebooks, etc.
