Sir, please step away from the edge! It's not worth it! There are many more reasons to live for than crying over TB! TB as QB is not the end of the world! We survived a coronavirus pandemic, we can survive the TB pandemic!

49ers trading up to number 3 with Miami!
CarolinaRideorDie replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
The real question now is what is ATL going to do? Do they pick the last of the 4 QBs or go a different position? If ATL doesn't pick a QB then one of the four really can fall to us at 8 with Philly moving out of spot 6. Mia, Det, and Cincy don't need QB. Unless someone leaps frog us again, we may still get a chance at a QB. -

I blame the panthers for telling the entire league that we were QB desperate and willing to do anything for one. We pretty much told the whole league our dick size and that we weren't happy and wanted an upgrade! lol -

I wonder if the Huddle thinks if SF package deal was too much? What if it was us who traded for #3 instead of SF? I bet this place would explode! -
Dan Orlovsky didn't fix his "flaws" that's why he never amounted to anything.

Panthers sign Hasson Reddick

I'm talking about consistency, unlikely to reproduce 5 sacks in one game again. His numbers are inflated by one game, that's all . -
There is still a lot of value in Free Agency.

With the way things have fallen so far through free agency, outside of drafting a QB, I think Kyle Pitts makes a lot of sense as BPA. Possibly a CB if we don't address that in free agency. -
I read somewhere that the Bears offered 3 1st round picks, a 3rd round, and 2 starters and Seattle turned them down. How much would Houston want for Watson and is Tepper so infatuated with Watson that he would approve such a deal? I hope Rhule and Fitterer have the balls to questions Tepper's "All-in on Watson, no matter what it takes" mentality.

Panthers lose FB Alex Armah

We didn't have a use for him here with Brady's scheme. -
REPORT: Panthers interested in Texans LB

So this means we are getting Deshaun Watson! I'm in!! lol -
You forget that we have all played madden franchise mode at some point in our lives so that makes us great talent evaluators. If their madden rating is less than 80 then they must suck! I like a little challenge so I play with actual cap room and not unlimited cap...

No way would I trade for a dude that is not passionate about playing a sport for millions of dollars. I would rather use a 7th rounder on a kicker who can contribute more than an unmotivated overweight bum.

Do you play on ALL-MADDEN or ROOKIE? Choose your next words wisely.

This goes to show that you need to build through the draft. We have a better chance of putting a similar package to move up to pick 2 or 3 instead of a 33 year old QB. Houston is paying attention to this deal, they are not settling for anything less than 3 1st rounders and multiple picks or players in addition.

I believe it when I hear that we will be aggressive. Look at Seattle's recent trades, Jamal Adams, Jadeveon Clowney, Frank Clark, etc. Even though some of those didn't work out for them, they weren't afraid to make the big move. I know this falls in line with Tepper's go big or go home mentality.
