  1. So if we're going to put Brady on blast, we need to put Phil snow on blast too. 500+ yds? We couldn't stop anything. Screw the stats, it's about making plays when it matters and this defense did not get it done at critical moments.
  2. What happened to this defense? No pressure, no sacks? Panthers are pretenders
  3. The only good thing is that the 3rd quarter came to an end.
  4. This team is just so incomplete. All 3 phases of the game are not consistent. Last week special teams cost the game, today special teams made a play but offense didn't show up. Defense stays strong but gives up the big play at the worst time. It's all a recipe for disaster. Rhule needs get it together.
  5. Is it a coincidence that bad things happen when Sam targets Anderson? He is in a funk and needs to be benched for a while.
  6. So the Huddle is B*tching and moaning for no reason?!?! I thought Scott Fitterer reads our forum! LOL
  7. LOL, vast majority of the huddlers on here have a toxic relationship with the Panthers. The Panthers can bring us so much joy and yet incite so much fury. Kind of like sexual frustration, we just need to have angry sex and get over it.
  8. Going into this game, I thought this could be a trap game and it turned out to be true. Yes we were supposed to win, but we found out our team is still not good enough to close some of these games. We got beat by a good Dallas team, but this was a tough loss. I hope this loss is a punch in the mouth to the team. If you don’t show up every Sunday, you’ll get your ass kicked!
  9. I'm not a big fan of trading down and possibly missing out on top tier talent. However I think Fitterer is very masterful with trading down to acquire late round picks. He is using late round picks as ammunition to trade for players. I mean he turned a 6th round pick into Gilmore. I have no doubt that Fitterer will trade back in future drafts and get that 6th round pick back. The sense is that he's not going to stop swinging for the fences until he hits big on a pick or player, which is refreshing.
  10. So we went from a Hardee's owner in Richardson to a hedge fund billionaire in Tepper. This Panthers organization is not the same Panthers organization we're used to over the past 25 years. We are essentially a new franchise from top down, but with same old Panthers decal. Tepper actually wants to win and not just make money, proof is when he said he couldn't sleep and was pissed that we lost to ATL that one year. How many times have we seen Richardson sit in his VIP box on a prime time game no interested in the game at all? Tepper buying the Panthers was good for Panther's fans.
  11. I agree. I think the game today has changed so much over the years. Look at these super athletic defensive linemen who rush the passer. Offense linemen talent has relatively remained the same. We won't necessarily get quality O-line in the draft until college coaches start putting big athletic men on the O-line. Defensive line gets drafted and prioritized in the top 10 of the draft more than O-line now. A dominant defensive line is easier to draft than a dominant offensive line.
  12. I'm sure Gilmore is like an uncle to Horn. They both play the same position and they both went to University of SC. A lot in common. Now if Horn can also be a Defensive MVP, that would seal the deal!
  13. We need to come up with a new nickname for our secondary. Can't copy legion of Boom!
  14. Wow, Scott Fitterer must read the Huddle. Looks like he traded for Gilmore. lol. Scott, if you are reading this, get us some O-line help!
  15. Huddlers will reference PFF grades when it supports their arguments, but call it trash when it doesn't.
  16. And if our rookies and back up can't beat our current starters, that says a lot about them.
  17. I wonder if Little was still on the team, would the Huddle be screaming for him to start?
  18. I expect consequences! Isn't this what ultimately did Jerry Richardson in?
  19. Being drafted to play and playing better than the guy in front of you is different. The Huddle calling for Christensen and Brown to play ahead of the current starters is dumb as if they have better insight than the position coaches who evaluate these players on a daily basis. Coaches will put the best 11 guys on the field all the time. If these rookie O-line are that good, they would have beat out the current guys during training camp.
  20. We're still a very young team, this is a good learning experience for us. Dallas is a veteran team with good talent and we went toe to toe with them in the first half. We're definitely trending up.
  21. I don't understand how some of you guys are calling for the two rookies Christensen and Brown to start. Maybe the coaches don't put them in because they would actually play worse than what are current starters are doing? It says a lot when you're not even activated to the active roster on game day. These coaches see and evaluate the players on a daily basis, I'm sure if they thought a rookie was better they would play them.
  22. Our defense is nice and scary, only if we can stop the run though. If you can't do that, you can't use your exotic blitzs.
