LOOK AT HOW MUCH JUICE THE LOCKER ROOM HAS
CarolinaRideorDie replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
It must be so awkward for Bryce to be in that room and hear all that. When the only change was you and the team won without you. -
So now that we know Bryce isn't the answer and was actually the problem, what do we do about the Qb position next year? Andy Dalton is not going to play for another 10 years and his contract actually expires after this year. What if Dalton plays well enough that we miss out on a top 10 draft selection for a QB this year? Despite today's feel good victory, we still have legitimate questions at the QB position.

Sounds like Cam was also holding on to some bitter feelings towards the current Panther regime. Overall he does make some valid points. Agree that this administration has failed miserably and I blame that on Fitt and the gutting of this team's talent over the years. Then drafting an outlier at QB and putting 110% on him to carry the team. For all the talk of Bryce's physical limitations, I think his regression has more to do with his lack of confidence and trust. All the Qb talk and analysis all agree that he doesn't trust the line to protect, he doesn't trust his receivers, etc. We can nitpick all we want, overall theme is that this team is a a Sh*tshow like Cam said.

I just listened to this take and I've listened to a lot of other sports analysts talk about the Bryce situation. I think Breer had the most honest assessment of what was really going on behind the scenes. I think the biggest voice to bench Bryce is Canales, for sure he had to run it by Tepper. Agree that Canales has to worry about the whole team and not just Bryce when other veterans are getting frustrated, everyone is playing for their next meal, can't be held back by one guy. Also a legit question if Bryce will start again outside of an injury to Dalton.

These WR have been running wind sprints the entire game. At least they got good cardio in? lol

If one of you guys were a QB in next years draft, would you guys want to come here with the lack of organization and plan? It's your NFL career, they may pay you a lot of money to be #1 pick, but you also don't want to flame out in 1.5 years and not get a chance to prove yourself anymore. What kind of questions would you ask Dan and Dave when you sit for 1 on 1 interviews at the combine? If I was a top QB, I wouldn't come here.

Poll: Has Bryce Played His Last Snap as a Panther?
CarolinaRideorDie replied to Captroop's topic in Carolina Panthers
After hearing of Bryce's benching I've watched a lot of NFL pundits, analysts, sports personalities comment on this. All of them agree that the Panthers take the biggest blame and is most at fault for Bryce's failures. No support, no consistency, no plan. Not trying to defend Bryce's play but there is evidence that other QB's have gone on to be better. Ex Baker and Darnold have played better after they left Carolina. Maybe you have lazy workers, but when a company stinks, it starts at the top too. -
Nobody in the NFL cares if you are a good guy or a bad guy or that you tried to manipulate your own career. All that matters is that you win. Peyton and Eli won multiple super bowls, nobody cared that they forced their own draft choice. The Golden Calf of Bristol is a God-fearing Christian and he couldn't play QB so he is gone. TO was one of the biggest divas but he produced so teams continually gave him second chances after second chances. At the end of the day, it's all about production.

It's arguable that Cam's 2015 MVP offense team is similar in talent to this team. Outside of Olsen, he had a declining Stewart who didn't even rush for 1000 yds, Philly Brown was the starter opposite Ted Ginn. On the defensive side, obviously it's not even close that we had a championship caliber Defense in 2015. All of that to say that Cam elevated the players around him, Bryce hasn't shown an ounce of the same impact.

I do believe Bryce's confident is shot. When he said his confidence is in the Lord, that means he knows it's going to take a miracle just to turn things around. A QBs confidence is everything. Remember when Delhome had that 5 game INT against the Cardinals, his career was just never the same after that. His production just fell off a cliff. I think why Cam was so effective was that he had so much confidence in his physical ability. He knew he was the biggest baddest dude on the field.

Now is the time to get a real good evaluation of this entire team. Is our defense playing like crap because our offense can't score? Are our WRs really that bad? Does special teams suck because of our offense? Tune in next Sunday to find out!!!

Yes, we know that he isn't the answer anymore. But we can't do anything about it. We just need to start day dreaming about the #1 pick next year. I promise you'll feel a lot better when you care less about the Panthers.

Sell me on Beck, Ewers, Sanders, Ward, etc.
CarolinaRideorDie replied to MGH1989's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agreed, this dude hasn't even played a full game yet. His hype is simply the Manning name. -
Dave Canales announces next week's starting QB
CarolinaRideorDie replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's fine that Bryce is the starting Qb for the rest of the year. Dalton is not a long term answer. Give Bryce two full years to solidify himself as the biggest bust after Jamarcus Russell. We get the #1 pick next year and we just move on. Stop overthinking this. -
Chargers at Panthers Game Thread

could have had Patrick Surtain, Thanks Fitt. -
You want to earn a easy $1k this weekend?
CarolinaRideorDie replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
On a side note, I won my fantasy week because I started New Orleans defense. Just pick up whatever defense the Panthers are playing and you get an easy 20+ points for defense. -
So it’s between us and the Giants for #1 pick?
CarolinaRideorDie replied to LegioX's topic in Carolina Panthers
On the bright side, at least we didn't overpay for Burns. Burns sure didn't help the Giants win. All that money to get 4 tackles! -
Derrick Brown potential season ending knee injury
CarolinaRideorDie replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Adding insult to injury. But in this case, the Saint did the insult first, and now the Brown is the injury afterwards. Panther's can't even get that in order, smh. Thank God it's only football, at least I'm alive? -
I know that we're all focused on Bryce's poor play but the performance of the team yesterday on all 3 phases was trash. This team was absolutely outcoached on all levels and that falls on Dave Canales too.
-
In Brandt Tilis I trust, the Panthers brought him in for a reason. Time for him to earn that money by saving the Panthers money!
-
Is it ok for us to relapse and have hope again? Or do we as fans not learn our lesson and continue to be let down by the team? (sigh), Here's to smoking that hopium!

Thursday front office press conference 11am
CarolinaRideorDie replied to Jackie Lee's topic in Carolina Panthers
@Jackie Lee Thanks for the posts and updates! Overall, I like what Dan is doing. He knows we have a weak roster and isn't afraid to turn it over. He's got a no nonsense attitude with how he approaches everything which is good. -
So Dan Morgan pulled a Steve Harvey debacle with Mrs. Universe. Congrats, you're the winner, SIKE!!!
