When Murray plays at an MVP level the Cardinals are good, however this is a perfect example of over reliance on one player. Cardinals are nothing without Murray, they expect him to create magic every time.

LOL, the Huddle is going through the 5 stages of grieving, some are still angry, some are bargaining, and so have come to accept it now.

Watching this game shows a lot about coaching. Dallas has the better talent but underperformed with a mediocre coach in McCarthy. Kyle Shanahan is a great coach who played with an average QB and still won on the road.

Wasn't Rhule's only NFL experience as an assistant O-line before he even took the college jobs? How does this dude have a job on any level of football? I wouldn't even trust him to fill the water bottles.

For sure it's a long shot, however there are enough talking points to consider the move. He wants to go to Chicago, I don't think they have that great of an offense, sure city draw is better than Charlotte. New Orleans is a good draw but they have no cap space for his contract. Dallas already has Dak. I forgot who the other team he wants to go to.

We are not going to the playoffs with Sam Darnold at QB, even if we do manage to draft a hall of fame LT. This years O-line free agency class is surprisingly decent, I would fix O-line through free agency. I think one underrated scenario is trading picks for Russell Wilson. There is a Fitt connection and Wilson played ball at NC State. I know Wilson hasn't said we were one of his top destinations and he can veto but can you imagine our offense weapons with Wilson at QB? Any QB would want to play with CMC, we have decent WR, just need an O-line. We have a top 5 defense too. I believe Wilson still has many good years ahead of him and would instantly make us playoff contenders.

Another quote by Mara that shows a competent owner knowing what he is doing. "Dug a hole so deep that I didn't see a clear path to getting out of it unless we completely blew it up and started all over again with a new [general manager] and head coach," Mara said.

So there's still a chance! This quote is directly from John Mara about his franchise. "Yes. Yes it is [the most embarrassed I've been]," Mara said. "I kept thinking during the season we hit rock bottom and then each week it got a little worse." Giants owner is smart enough to recognize this and move on from a bad season, please tell me that Tepper has some common sense and fires Rhule!

That's the whole problem with Tepper's hiring process. He has always gone after and chased "hyped or rock star coaches." Rhule had a lot of hype as an up and coming college coach who was going to make it big in the NFL, he threw a lot of money and gave a big contract only for that to bust. Joe Brady was supposed to be the next offensive guru genius because of LSU, gave him big money and a first time opportunity as OC = BUST. Tepper needs to really look at the foundation and stop going after the hype! No rock star OC is going to save the Panthers, we are fundamentally built wrong from the top down!

Fitt is a smart guy, he had to kiss ass and brown nose Rhule to get the GM position. Knowing how this year went and the position that Rhule is a lame duck coach for next year, he is smart to distance himself from Rhule even if Rhule did have a big say in his hiring. He is auditioning this year and offseason to REMAIN the Panther's GM. I honestly think he deserves a chance to stay and help hire a head coach. Remember how everyone was talking up about Fitt knows everyone in the NFL, that should help recruit a HC.

There should be a tournament where the bottom teams get to play for the #1 draft pick. This helps avoid tanking and gives fans a reason to watch their losing team play for something!

So Sam Darnold did worse with us than when he was with the Jets?!?! Does that mean Rhule is worse than Gase and Panthers are even more incompetent that the Jets? lol

Our uniforms should resemble the Ringling bros Barnum and Bailey circus costumes because our team is a joke. Rhule's outfit every week should be a clown suit too!

If I was Hamilton, I'm not sure I would want to come work for Rhule knowing he is a lame duck HC next year. And there is no QB on the Panthers that's worth scheming for. This is not an attractive opening.

His turnover problem is a mental issue. Dude just plays scared at the QB position. If he hasn't fixed it by now this far into his career, he won't fix it in a single offseason.

He wants to run the football because he can't find a QB to throw or even manage a game!

There are reports that he is considering Bill Obrien, THE Bill Obrien that ruined the Texans! Just when you think it can't get any worse, it really can. Also, no offensive coordinator is going to fix this clown show, it starts with the head coach. We also don't have a QB, no OC is going to fix Darnold.

Matt Rhule: "He is a franchise QB, you just can't see it yet!"

That's the conundrum, but it sounds like Tepper gave Rhule the authority to make football decisions. I don't think Tepper will force Sam on Rhule just because of money. Tepper is not afraid to spend, he sat quietly as Rhule fired Joe Brady with all that wasted money. He paid Teddy to go away, he will do the same with Sam. Rhule has tried to find his franchise QB through free agency and through trade and both have failed, I would be shocked if he passed on a QB in the draft.

For all the huddlers wanting to draft O-line first, do you guys really think Rhule will play another year with Sam at the QB position? If there is one thing Rhule has done is that he knows the QB position is most important position, evidence by Teddy and Darnold acquisitions. Rhule just sucks at evaluating the QBs and lost on his gambles. A 1st round offensive linemen with Darnold at QB will not help Rhule save his job, he will reach for a QB in the first round. This all leads to Panther suckage for a few more years.

The only problem with this is that there's no franchise QB worth this amount in this draft. SF really thought Lance was worth it. Which team this year would give up that value for a LT, CB, safety etc?

Depending on how far we are willing to trade back, teens or 20s? But at least a future first round pick for sure. I just don't know if any prospect is worth that value to trade up for besides a reach for one of the QBs.

I do fear that Rhule will be desperate to save his job and ruin the franchise for years to come to try and win now. I mean look what Bill Obrien did to the Texans. Rhule knows that Cam and Sam are not the answer at the QB position and I think he will reach for a QB in this year's draft and get fired because he has another losing record. I hope whoever coaches the Panthers in 2023 has the guts to start all over and draft another QB of their liking. Similar to what Cardinals did with Kyler Murray and Josh Rosen, it turned out pretty good for them.

The front office has invested heavily into the defensive line and if it's not working out then I blame them for the crap show they assembled. Brown and Burns are 1st rounders. YGM, Nixon are 2-3 rounders, Roy and Hoskins is late round. Cmon, if you drafted 6 defensive line players within the last 2 years and they aren't working out then you suck at evaluating talent or coaching them up.
