  1. According to the Huddle, the best Panthers coach is the next coach lol. Speaks volume of how sucky our previous coaches have been. I will admit that our coaches (Fox/Rivera) have at least taken us to the Super Bowl, consistency was the problem. If Rhule doesn't take us to a Super Bowl, he sucks more than Fox and Rivera.
  2. LOL, 2 mins and 20 seconds and not a single security officer to intervene. I guess the security guys couldn't make a stop much like the Panther's D.
  3. Agreed that Sam didn't get any help today, but he also didn't help this team win. Fist play was a pick and his fumble too. He has consistently turned the ball over at USC and Jets. This is who he is. With the 3 losses, Sam has shown that he is an above average QB, but he can't carry the team ala Wilson, Rodgers, Mahomes, Brady. You know what those QBs have in common? They have all won Superbowls. Defense don't win championships anymore, superstar QBs do and I don't think Sam will be that guy.
  4. We're supposed to give Rhule at least 3 years to contend right? That's the trend where ever he has worked at. However without an answer at the QB position, Rhule's clock is ticking away fast.
  5. With today's loss, the Panthers played against the Vikings and the Panthers.
  6. So if we're going to put Brady on blast, we need to put Phil snow on blast too. 500+ yds? We couldn't stop anything. Screw the stats, it's about making plays when it matters and this defense did not get it done at critical moments.
  7. What happened to this defense? No pressure, no sacks? Panthers are pretenders
  8. The only good thing is that the 3rd quarter came to an end.
  9. This team is just so incomplete. All 3 phases of the game are not consistent. Last week special teams cost the game, today special teams made a play but offense didn't show up. Defense stays strong but gives up the big play at the worst time. It's all a recipe for disaster. Rhule needs get it together.
  10. Is it a coincidence that bad things happen when Sam targets Anderson? He is in a funk and needs to be benched for a while.
  11. So the Huddle is B*tching and moaning for no reason?!?! I thought Scott Fitterer reads our forum! LOL
  12. LOL, vast majority of the huddlers on here have a toxic relationship with the Panthers. The Panthers can bring us so much joy and yet incite so much fury. Kind of like sexual frustration, we just need to have angry sex and get over it.
  13. Going into this game, I thought this could be a trap game and it turned out to be true. Yes we were supposed to win, but we found out our team is still not good enough to close some of these games. We got beat by a good Dallas team, but this was a tough loss. I hope this loss is a punch in the mouth to the team. If you don’t show up every Sunday, you’ll get your ass kicked!
  14. I'm not a big fan of trading down and possibly missing out on top tier talent. However I think Fitterer is very masterful with trading down to acquire late round picks. He is using late round picks as ammunition to trade for players. I mean he turned a 6th round pick into Gilmore. I have no doubt that Fitterer will trade back in future drafts and get that 6th round pick back. The sense is that he's not going to stop swinging for the fences until he hits big on a pick or player, which is refreshing.
  15. So we went from a Hardee's owner in Richardson to a hedge fund billionaire in Tepper. This Panthers organization is not the same Panthers organization we're used to over the past 25 years. We are essentially a new franchise from top down, but with same old Panthers decal. Tepper actually wants to win and not just make money, proof is when he said he couldn't sleep and was pissed that we lost to ATL that one year. How many times have we seen Richardson sit in his VIP box on a prime time game no interested in the game at all? Tepper buying the Panthers was good for Panther's fans.
  16. I agree. I think the game today has changed so much over the years. Look at these super athletic defensive linemen who rush the passer. Offense linemen talent has relatively remained the same. We won't necessarily get quality O-line in the draft until college coaches start putting big athletic men on the O-line. Defensive line gets drafted and prioritized in the top 10 of the draft more than O-line now. A dominant defensive line is easier to draft than a dominant offensive line.
  17. I'm sure Gilmore is like an uncle to Horn. They both play the same position and they both went to University of SC. A lot in common. Now if Horn can also be a Defensive MVP, that would seal the deal!
  18. We need to come up with a new nickname for our secondary. Can't copy legion of Boom!
  19. Wow, Scott Fitterer must read the Huddle. Looks like he traded for Gilmore. lol. Scott, if you are reading this, get us some O-line help!
  20. Huddlers will reference PFF grades when it supports their arguments, but call it trash when it doesn't.
  21. And if our rookies and back up can't beat our current starters, that says a lot about them.
