  1. Whoever our future HC is, I think it has to be an offensive minded HC. The NFL is an offensive and scoring league! Even if our defense is trash, I can not watch another offense like this. Watching a poor offense is worse than a poor defense.
  2. So Rhule was correct in saying "The process is working, we just can't see it yet?" We're improving but just not getting the W's? Nah, the only stat that matters is Wins.
  3. Agreed, as much success as CMC has been with running the ball, (he is the first RB this season to post back to back 100 yd games), we need to run him more on first and second down to make 3rd down more manageable. Ickey is supposed to be able to block out the sun with his run blocking, play to his strengths and stop asking him to protect Mayfield which he is struggling with right now.
  4. A lot of the offensive woes I think can be attributed to McAdoo schemes. If Mayfield is being blitzed that often he needs to scheme quick dump offs to CMC for easy completions. McAdoo games plans as if he has Mahomes or Josh Allen as his QB. I think he is asking too much from Mayfield to carry this offense. Give CMC, Shenault, and DJ a chance to make plays with easy completions.
  5. Exactly! Make up your mind! Do we hate Elfein or do we love him!?!? I just need some clarity!
  6. Wasn't there a report that Tepper would be patient with Rhule unless it was an epic collapse? Well if this isn't an epic collapse then I don't know what is?
  7. As much as Jameis sucks, his QB play is better than Baker. How do you only have 54 pass yards into the 4th quarter? We will not win many games like this.
  8. Despite us leading this game, the Panthers are still a crap team. If it wasn't for a defensive TD and blocked/missed FGs, this game would still be very close. Our offense is just atrocious to watch. This offense is very similar to the Jimmy Clausen days.
  9. That play by Shaq is an example of who he is. He'll play ok but also doesn't capitalize on his opportunities to make a difference. No doubt that Luke would have intercepted that. That's the difference between a game changer and an average guy.
  10. Look, a turnover on defense in how many years? These are the plays on defense that matters!
  11. The Huddle should "Antonio Brown" this situation and quit the team at half time. AB knew what he was doing lol
  12. I think Rhule's greatest downfall was he believed in his "culture building" too much. He also never got the QB position right from the get go. He thought he could win with average guys at the QB position as long as his "culture" was strong and right. We all know you won't win a superbowl without a franchise QB.
  13. This is inacceptable, even Dan Orlovsky can read our offense! I feel like our staff is in preschool and other coaching staffs have a PhD.
  14. I'll watch, hoping that Rhule will be fired by half time.
  15. The biggest turnover that the Panthers need at this point is a turnover of the front office and current regime.
  16. Doesn't matter that he played 91% of the snaps if he didn't get the ball. Mcdumb has forgotten about CMC's talent and would rather rely on Mayfield. He's probably trying to prove that he is a QB whisperer.
  17. If you want to judge Fitt then you have to judge his trades that he has made. He did draft players but a lot of that has to do with Rhule and his staff lack of coaching players up. All of Fitt's trades have been very reasonable compensation. Lots of people think the trades were of fair value for Mayfield, CJ Henderson, Stephon Gilmore, even Darnold at the time. Hind sight is 20/20 so when a player sucks it makes the trade look bad but everyone thought it was worth the gamble.
  18. Rhule was touted to be a strong motivator and leader during his hire, I don't know how he has gotten this far in his career with his facade.
  19. If you look at the recent trends of successful coach hires (Miami, Vikings, Giants, Philly), they are young offensive minded coaches with exception of Daboll. I don't think we've ever had an offensive minded HC in the history of the Panthers. I think we have good offensive talent to surround a promising draft prospect. Look what Miami did for Tua by drafting Waddle and trading for Tyreek Hill. AJ Brown for Hurts in Philly. Diggs for Josh Allen. Meanwhile Fields is left to die in Chicago.
  20. I'm not here to defend Rhule, but I will say that we should keep Rhule until we have the #1 overall picked locked up. Because with Rhule as HC, we know we always have a chance to keep losing, don't want an interim HC coming in and managing to win 4-5 games to keep us irrelevant.
  21. I mean the Panthers are beating themselves so #33 is reasonable. Panthers are #32 and #33...lol
  22. Rumors are that Rhule's wife made meatballs to offer to Tepper to keep Rhule for one more season.
