CMC is an ELITE RB, sure RBs are devalued now but you don't trade an ELITE player away for nothing. Anything short of a 1st rounder is a trash deal. Future late 1st rounds picks aren't guarantees. It's like you're willing to pay $100 for a $10 quick pick ticket to mega millions, good luck with those odds. With all of these tweets coming out about how toxic Rhule and his regime is, it's a blessing to have them fired this early into the season. Lets really see if Wilks can put these defenders in positions to succeed for the rest of the season. Maybe we won't win more games, but players will care about their stats such as INTs and sacks!

This is Tepper's reckoning press conference, I'm glad they asked the hard questions. This guy was so sure that he hit a home run with Rhule and felt like the smartest owner because he was the richest. Eat some poo, money can buy a lot of things but it doesn't always lead to success. Stroud looks like he has all the tools to be a successful QB, I just worry about Ohio State's QB pipeline in the NFL. It hasn't been very good.

If Steelers got the #1 overall pick would they pick a QB right after picking Pickett though?

At this point, I do believe that Rhule will be fired. There is just no way Tepper can justify keeping him at this point. It may be tomorrow or at the end of the season. What I worry most is if Tepper will make the right HC hire? Will he clean house with Fitt too? Will he spend money on an experienced coach like Sean Payton? Tepper is the common denominator in all of this, every one else is just temporary in this franchise.

I would want Lamar to go off because I have him on my fantasy team!

CMC saying all of that may just be him trying to be politically correct, but then point out those players who are not being held accountable? If the truth is that Rhule really is coaching winning football but players aren't performing? Then get rid of these so called players, maybe this team really does lack talent then.

Trading CMC at this point would be dumb. What we would get for him is nothing compared to what he can contribute to our future team. An elite pass catching RB would do wonders for a rookie QB. Look how much Lawrence, Mac Jones, and Fields are struggling without talent around them. Tua gets talent like Tyreek and Waddle and all of a sudden he is a top 5 passer this year?
