The only teams that are willing to trade a "top-tier WR" are teams with a current losing record, ex Broncos, Bengals, LV. None of their WR scream difference makers to me other than Davante Adams but I don't know if he has a no trade clause. Should have signed D-Hop when we had the chance!

Has any team ever had the #1 and #2 pick?
CarolinaRideorDie replied to LegioX's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bears are gonna draft Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr with #1 and #2 overall. How sad are we. -
Good Drinking Material - Zavala stats
CarolinaRideorDie replied to theguy's topic in Carolina Panthers
People on here were calling him a steal in the 4 lath round during week 2. Oh how things have changed. -
I see you “processed” my post!

But it's too early to judge him!

Tepper should fire himself for this blunder
CarolinaRideorDie replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
honestly Fitt's hire needs to be reexamined. He was hired during Rhule regime. Was Fitt a Rhule hire or a Tepper hire? Is Fitt just a yes man and doing what he is told by Rhule and Tepper or is he actually make these decisions with autonomy. Fitt has not shown that he has an eye for talent, the only thing he has done is make trades and hope that something good happens. Poor drafting over the past 3 years have set this team back, no depth, no superstars, no difference makers. We have become the old Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals. -
Easily the most WTF jersey at todays game
CarolinaRideorDie replied to X-Clown's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, these 2 had the best jerseys at the game! We could have used either of these two players today! -
I was at the game and did see a lot of purple. Honestly quite surprised to see a lot of Theilan Vikings jersey, whether they supported Vikings or Theilan I don’t know. I saw a lot of old panthers legends jerseys, smith, Newton, kuechly, even Delhomme. Our current team has no one to root for, we’ve been gutted of talent and haven’t replaced them. I honestly thought about buying a jersey today but didn’t see anyone worth buying for $200. A Chinn jersey? Yeah right get out of here!

Currently watching Stroud and AR dominate
CarolinaRideorDie replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree, I was at the game and saw this first hand. I do think he is thinking too much and just needs to let it rip! There were times chark was open down field buy he just didn’t see it or he wasn’t the first read then he had to scramble for his life. Those 2 TD plays to Jefferson was absolutely scripted for him and Kirk knew he was throwing that way no matter what. That’s the frustrating thing about this coaching staff, I don’t think they are making it easy for him and asking him to be conservative by nature. That’s why he is throwing all of these dink and dunk passes. -
I mean it is close to Halloween , maybe he is trying to be a ghost. You’ll have more luck finding him in on a milk carton for kissing kids!

Panthers Really Lost to This Falcons Team SMH....
CarolinaRideorDie replied to Castavar's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think that’s the most disappointing thing is that these teams aren’t even that good. Saints have a top 5 defense, Seattle is legit. But we should have beaten falcons. -
But people on the Huddle said it was too early to judge!! Fitt's draft history has left a lot to be desired and resulted in our lack of depth when injuries happen. Chinese Proverb: "A tiger can not change it's stripes" = Fitt still sucks at drafting

Would you give a 3rd for Jerry Juedy?
CarolinaRideorDie replied to Jaxel's topic in Carolina Panthers
LOL, at this point everything Fitt touches is trash. Miss with draft picks, miss with trades. Trade a 3rd for Jeudy, I expect it not to work out like CJ Henderson. Save future draft picks and use a 3rd round pick to draft a DJ Johnson who isn't even active on game day = we're all screwed. -
Deciding whether to trade Burns or not based on our depth is irrelevant. Barno and DJ can do exactly what Burns has been doing for us these past 3 games, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! And they do it for cheaper! Burns has trade value based on his potential and that's his selling point. It's really a no brainer question when you look at the pros and cons. He is an expensive player that hasn't produced anything. Burns will not win you a football game, Bryce if surrounded by the right cast can win football games.
-
At this point, I'm ok with trading any or all three of these players. Since their time in the league, they have been around a losing culture so much that they have become losers. We need new talent and need to draft winners. I feel like this team lacks leadership in the form of a Luke, TD, Cam, or Olsen. Everyone on the team seems like a JAG at this point.
-
The big difference here is that the Dolphins actually built this the right way. They fully embraced a full REBUILD!! They traded their star players away for future draft picks, traded Fitzpatrick, Laremy Tunsil for draft assests and flipped some of those into Tyreek Hill. We are currently half-assing everything here. Our team here is lacking talent. We need to trade Burns away for future assets. He has gone MIA in these past 2 games. With these injuries to our starters, Fitt has failed to find good depth for some of our positions. When you look back at things, it's actually not really a surprise that we suck.

I blame our black cat mascot. Might as well put ladders at the entrance and let all the players walk out from under it. Then instead of pounding the keep pounding drum, we just smash mirrors. Change our name to the Carolina Incompetents.

Burns will be sacrificed for a WR to two.
CarolinaRideorDie replied to Tbe's topic in Carolina Panthers
We need a disgruntled WR star who wants to leave their current team like Diggs and Hill did in, unfortunately I don't know of one. Maybe Tee Higgins but is he pro bowl/all pro talent wise? Regardless, paying a top shelf WR is still cheaper than a top shelf pass rusher. -
If it's not too early to judge Bryce after 2 games, then it's not too early to judge Zavala as well! We want to be fair in our pettiness!

What we need to see from Bryce and the offensive philosophy
CarolinaRideorDie replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Bryce has been coached to "take what the defense gives you and get the ball to your playmakers to make a play." The irony is that we don't have any playmakers! Bryce has to be the playmaker at this point. He had positive plays when he had to improvise with the long run and the 2 point conversion! I honestly think he coached to be conservative with all of these dink and dunk passes. -

CarolinaRideorDie replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's also time for these WR to prove that they can make a play when needed! If you ain't open, then make a contested catch! Olave was not open and pass interfered and still made that catch against CJ! Time to be a dawg! -
Week 2 : All-22 Review Requests
CarolinaRideorDie replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Review our O-line play, who won at the line of scrimmage, did we get any push? Also our CB play, they gave up 2 big passing plays that essentially turned the tide of the game in their favor, Olave catch and Rasheed catch. -
Give me a reason to be excited about the future of this team

Panthers' Offense: Some Core Concerns Surfacing Early
CarolinaRideorDie replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree it doesn't look that way on television. I think we just have some chunk yardage on runs but we mostly get stuffed on 1st and 2nd downs. We need to consistently at least pick up 5 yds on 1st and 2nd downs to open up the passing playbook. And i think it has more to do with our interior O-line and not necessarily our RBs, there just aren't any holes to run through. Frank needs to wise up and scheme around our weaknesses, he's supposed to be our offensive genius.
