  1. damn I had no idea that @Verge and Nat_ whatever were the same person.
  2. Ask Aaron Rodgers how he felt about them drafting Jordan Love. Either you put your QB in a comfortable situation, no open camp poo, surround with weapons or you draft a QB early and keep the competition open
  3. Most would have Sam ranked as the #2 QB in this draft, and is the same age group. Sam dealt with some poo in NYJ, QB is a very cerebral position and they want him to feel secure and supported
  4. I would say FS unless they plan to make this Keith Taylor kid a safety or if Sam Franklin can turn it up a notch. Justin Burris ain't it.
  5. I loved watching folks on here freak out over the trading back stuff. First, it exploits the miseducation of how the draft works - and how long we have had the wrong decision makes in place. Secondly, it shows how impatient some people are. They begin saying things like "I guess we'll just draft someone in 2022". Something that my kids would say in line at Disneyland. We executed this draft very well, trusted our board - filled holes and prepared for the future.
  6. damn I love this pick...another Smith at receiver. A dog like him too!
  7. Washington DB's usually play pretty well. Here is some great film break down on him, tons of potential.
  8. Panthers are done playing around at corner...
  9. damn espn and nflfn barely even mentioned our pick that's insane.
  10. CHUBA HUBBARD!!!! I KNEW WE WERE GOING RB!!!!
  11. damn there are some people on here more dramatic than my 7 year old
  12. staying patient...knowing their board...accumulating picks to move up for no cost to snag someone they covet before someone else can. I know I know...it's all so new to us.
  13. I don't agree. Marshall was the #2 receiver on their board, they saw how things were playing out and knew that he could be had later. this allowed them to gain an extra pick by being patient and knowing their board.
  14. one of the things about trading back that most panthers fans aren't used to seeing is having the patience and flexibility to control your board. you can see how things are panning out and know that a guy will still be available X amount of picks away. you gain capital that allows you to jump up without really losing much at all other than swapping, just in case you notice a trend and would rather move up. this just goes to show how bad Hurney was, even Gettleman is just now catching on to this trend and getting praise for it.
  15. seriously though we drafted Marshall to replace Anderson in the future as well as some of the big play ability we will miss from Samuel. we drafted Tremble to replace Armah, Manhertz and Thomas all in one. drafting Michael Carter would replace Mike Davis and provide insurance / rest for CMC. he's a def one of the BPA's which is what Rhule said they're going for, this is actually a legitimate need though...so yeah.
