I know the coaches really like him and are willing to be patient. He's a defensive project like Darnell Washington is an offensive project. I saw some video of him from fan fest where he's watching the 1's do a DL drill and he's standing closely to them, lining up and mimicking to practice the rep while watching. That's a good sign. It does sound like he's being out performed by UDFA Eku Leota and FA Kobe Jones, though. You shouldn't expect much out of a 5th round project pick as we've all learned countless times.
