Honestly, do you think that any of these young QB's that have shown promise would have been able to perform at the same level with Gase and the Jets? Would Mayfield, Murray, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, any of those top 10 guys put up All Pro numbers with Gase and the Jets? Not focusing on Darnold for a moment, but strictly looking at Gase and the Jets team. Is that a fair place to showcase ones talents?

you gotta give coaches that show progress 3-5 years. By then the team should made up entirely of their decisions and students. 1 and done or 2 and dones are reserved for the winless dumpster fires that lose their locker room.
