I haven't even seriously began thinking of listing my house or working with an NC realtor yet. I have alerts set on Zillow and browse options but nothing serious yet. Especially this time of year. I've also never sold a house before, this is my first home - I have no idea how to even go about a process like that. A lot of this is contingent on timing with my kids and my mom. My desire to move grows stronger each month though, between some family members out here that we're forced to spend time with that my wife and I strongly dislike and other state regulations - there are only a few things keeping me here. Just last week during Thanksgiving, they shut off 75% of my counties power due to high winds and fire warnings. Who the hell wants to live in expensive ass California if they're going to turn your power off on a national holiday because they're afraid of a wildfire?

I honestly liked it better when teams didn't have social medias and all of this rah rah crap being shown online. Just comes off the wrong way when we're playing this badly. Can't stand some of the cringe social media posts our team makes especially when in such a bad place franchise-wise. Tree lighting is cool, but this just made me think of how different things are these days.

Finally brought the little guy home. My wife and kids love him already, he is a little monster and my other dogs aren't too sure about him yet haha. Glad I pulled the trigger, can't wait to see him grow.

I must have missed this, but I don't like Rhule saying "don't do it again". Not sure what his tone was or anything, but he himself said he wants the full Cam - and that's him. That was a huge moment, worse penalties have occurred in the "DBO" error. That is a moment that has no affect, it's intimidating, warranted, and momentum building. That is some cool info on your pup! Good looking dog. This is another reason I don't want to go to the pound for a pit. Most of them are already a year or so old and come from God knows where. I want to train him from a young age as I have young ones in the house. While they are "fighting dogs" they have also been referred to as "nanny dogs" for their loyalty and ability to watch over young. Every pit I come across is docile and lazy. I've had Pitbull mutts in the past, but nothing like this one I have my eyes on. His dad looks like he could kick my ass and steal my girl...

The health concerns with purebreds is a good point, I've heard that before and definitely don't want to go down that road. That being said, I've had problems with my mutts as well at some point or another - but paying the bill for a $100 mutt hurts a lot less than paying a $1,000 bill for a $5,000 dog. Perhaps I will stop by the local shelter, I just hate going there unless I'm dead set on leaving with a dog. If I go there and don't see exactly what I'm looking for I'm gonna feel like an asshole.

I live in one of the most expensive areas in Southern California. Been looking at moving elsewhere as mentioned in another thread. My mortgage and cost to run my home a month is over $5K, my wife stays home so it's all up to me. I'm only 29, blessed to make enough to afford this and save but my spending habits are terrible. Dropping $2K this week to go see the Panthers after I was just there and about to drop another $5K on a puppy. You only get one damn life though!

I've rescued all of my dogs in the past, this would be the first time getting one from a breeder.

I have been looking into purebred American Pitbull puppies for an Xmas present to my wife and kids. I found one I really like, he's selling for $4,500. I always usually adopt but I am pretty dead set on getting a purebred from a well known bloodline / parents. I want to wait until Xmas but he's the last one left and I don't want to wait for a new litter that won't be able to pick up until spring. Please make me feel better about paying several thousand dollars for a damn dog
