it took me like two decades of watching football to just accept that injuries, no matter when or what they are - are part of the game. like weather, off the field issues, contract issues, coaching / ownership issues, bad calls. especially the fact that it happened in a warm up is just so poetic. part of the game. part of the ebbs and flows.

front offices definitely trade players away, encourage coaches to start others to see what they have. but never intentionally lose. I hate the word tanking, rebuilding is definitely real. but these kids that are like "tank for blank" are the actual worst.

Tanking is not real. I will argue that to my death. You might give other players a shot to play and showcase what they've got if playoffs are shot, but no professional team will ever intentionally lose. There's nothing you can say to sway my opinion on that, anyone that believes in tanking is either a kid or a conspiracy theorist in my eyes.

that would show that it really is him that was holding the team back, and that we have talent to win with competent coaching. maybe even have a wildcard game and end things on a high note. playing for draft position is a hoax created by kids. tanking is not real. also really don't care about the whole draft position things, good teams draft good players. our first pick this year is looking pretty bleak and our last year pick didn't even really play and the jury is still out.
