definition of a smart player: McKinnon in the super bowl. Could've scored a potential game winning TD but slid instead to secure the first down and kick a game winning FG. Eagles could've easily scored a TD and 2ptc like they did earlier in the game.

would love to land Singleton. he really broke out under Evero. I went to high school with him and he's an incredible guy. I remember when he told me he was going to go to the NFL one day and I laughed at him. Can't believe he made it after all these years. Would love to see him in the black and blue!!!

QB Hype in February vs. Where they were actually drafted
GOAT replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'll take a stab, Bryce Young is mocked at 2nd overall in February....Goes 5th overall. CJ Stroud is mocked at 4th overall in February....Goes 1st overall. Will Levis is mocked at 7th overall in February....Goes 2nd overall. Anthony Richardson is mocked at 9th overall in February....Goes 2nd round. -
How could someone want AR over Levis lmfao

A Statistical Analysis of Signing Carr vs. Trading for L. Jackson

when you read something dumb that doesn't make sense based on facts or information you've viewed with your own eyes, do you continue to read several more paragraphs from that person? -
would you be opposed to moving back up for Bijan Robinson?

yeah, I just discussed why that is a terrible idea and wont happen or wouldn't work. -
What is it with this fanbase and their love for bridge vet QB's?

preach. I am so done with retreads. I would be sick if we went this route again. the time is now, draft another QB in the first round. worked last time around. -
I'm always on board. My only hesitation is this whole "reunion" vibe they're putting off. Idk if that's ever worked or been done before. Seems like something to lean on when times get tough. I have zero patience or interest in that. Don't show me old images of coaches / players. Show me fugging W's. I also worry about how long some of these guys are looking to coach, (Capers, Cauldwell, Reich) they old. And then I worry about the young rising stars of this coaching staff. The league has an issue, coordinators are getting swooped up way too fast. I almost feel bad for the Eagles for getting raided and losing their coordinators so quickly. There should be some sort of rule where you have to trade picks for a coach until they've coached for X amount of years.

haha there it is.

this isn't going to happen, how is this 7 pages long? we are re-signing Foreman. The social media team literally just shouted him out on all platforms. Social media tips our hand a lot if you pay attention. They gave them the greenlight to post that because they're going to make sure he is re-signed. and if he wasn't? I will never advocate for drafting a RB high again. It never works out, the good teams always have late round backs or committee. I just watched the Chiefs win a super bowl with a 7th round rookie while their first round RB was a healthy scratch. close thread. -

I'm sorry, what? Jackson heads to twitter post game to argue with fans. Carr is one of the most stand up guys in the league. I stopped reading right here. -
haha okay man, I get that you're trying to be somewhat funny but also hitch your wagon to an underdog so you can feel like the man if a longshot player makes it. I live in Ventura County, Matt is our hometown guy out here. I was stoked to see the Panthers draft him, I wanted him to workout. I was the same with Clausen who was from out here. I knew right away though that he wasn't it, just like with Corral. There is tape, you're denying it. True NFL QB's can shine no matter the circumstances. I never agree with Linville on anything and I hate UNC, but Howell straight up out performed him in the same scenario with our old coaching staff that doesn't know how to prepare anyone either. Everything's going to be okay, we're going to trade up for our guy and you will fall in love. I'll remember to tag you in the "Matt Corral waived by Panthers" thread in a couple years from now. Hopefully we will both laugh it off as our new franchise QB begins to soar.

I'm not watching college tape from a guy that has NFL tape. Watch it and weep. TMJ, Tremble and Foreman were on the field with him. Bad throw after bad throw. Panicked rushes and scrambling. Bad decision making like the play I highlighted. Short throws that would be intercepted by starters. Hospital balls. There really wasn't a single bright moment in his NFL tape, like there was with Howell is now a starter. It's really easy to identify these things early on.
-
Watch. Tape. You didn't even acknowledge the tape I just posted of the Patriots tape. Not to mention, he was visibly out performed by Howell in that game. Also a late round rookie with limited practice reps playing with 3rd stringers. Howell is going to the Commanders starting QB next season. Matt will probably not get a jersey this year.
-
The Patriots tape is really bad too. And I was just watching it again, he had guys like Tremble, TMJ, and Foreman on the field with OL like Elf and Mayes. Just bad throw after bad throw.

The 2:48 marker from this video is when I knew Corral wouldn't be an NFL QB. He doesn't recognize the pressure and isn't used to the speed of an NFL defense...and these are back ups. He tries to escape and then embarrassingly tries to switch the ball to his left hand and throw the ball risking a fumble and definitely resulting in an intentional grounding penalty. This play reminded me of something a kid would do playing against adults in a back yard football game. Like ah idk wtf I'm doing let me just try to get rid of this thing. Honestly his other highlights in this video are bad too. But this is the play where I knew.

Give me Cooter, the Jag's passing attack made huge strides this year with some questionable talent. I don't want anyone from the Rams, that cow has been milked and Brown was a offensive play caller at Miami. As Hurricanes fan, you don't want anyone that's been involved with that program anywhere near your team.

this got nothing to do with Sam. We would've signed him last year to help Sam if that was the plan.
