how many of y'all are still watching the games?
GOAT replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can't imagine being a frequent poster on a sports forum for a team I "don't watch". -
Matt Rhule wasn't an offensive coach, he was a college coach and that is all he will ever be. Frank Reich was often mistaken to be the OC for the Eagles in the SB, but it was Pederson. He was often mistaken for being the OC in Indy, but it was Siriani. he is outdated. we do in fact need to get with times and have a young offensive coach like McDaniels, Shannahan, Siriani.

hmm yes would Burns and his 55th ranked pass rush skills while playing for a contract be able spin passed the sophomore slumping icky to sack the make a wish kid we have playing QB before he's able to throw to our only receiver covered by what ever corner isn't injured???
-
Bryce has gotten 3 coaches fired and made a TE medically retire just slightly way passed the halfway point of his first szn
-
we got hung up on him running crisp routes in shorts and a t-shirt and trying to strike gold with another Ole Miss receiver. Tank Dell worked out with Stroud and lobbied with Stroud to be their pick and prove people he was worthy, hungry. Our team needs more players like Tank, hungry, ready to prove people wrong. Not highly regarded players from big schools thinking they'll be able to do what they did vs Vanderbilt in the NFL.

hey the man that brought us this team was a former NFL TE, not a former owner or anything. fug it man I barely care anymore.

Gantt says 10:30am EST but I also see 12:30pm EST, which is it?

Greg Olsen says he is interested in Panthers HC Job
GOAT replied to usmcpanthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
the kid in me loves this idea, but we tried the ex-player reunion thing with an all star big name staff. I want young, hungry disciples of proven coaching trees that are innovative and motivated to turn themselves into big names. -
Tepper isn't hitting it right
-
their social media doesn't even caption their posts anymore. They just post a picture of the final score with no caption. truly ugly times in Charlotte.

Jay Feely says Matt Rhule treated people "crappy" while in Carolina
GOAT replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
having a 4 figured bet on the under in that game x Rhule absolutely choking slapped better than any Panthers win in the last several years. -
let's trade Bryce and like a third for Stroud too
-
yeah we really could have kept the culture in tact, kept a lot of these veterans mentioned and even a veteran coach like Wilkes. Could've kept Cam as back up / cheerleader and drafted a guy like Stroud or AR to take the reigns and bring some youth excitement into the team. The whole Jerry Richardson thing really nuked a lot of that unfortunately and obvi that gave us Tepper. It is what it is, can't live in the past. What we can do is keep blowing this thing up until we get the right combo of coaches, FO and players. that is the only way.

Bryce will never work out here in Carolina but watch him have some annoying rah rah season like Josh Dobbs in 5 years from now when he's holding a clip board for some other team and gets a shot to do his dink and dunk crap for a team with actual weapons and OL protection when their starter goes down.

To those who watched all 4th quarters: why?
GOAT replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
not sure, I'm not an odds maker. It was 10.5 but I bought a couple points to avoid a double L. -

I had money on the Cowboy's -8.5 -
nice play by clemson, I have money on them today - but UNC looks far superior atm.

History is Repeating Itself with Frank Reich as a Play-caller
GOAT replied to DFive's topic in Carolina Panthers
I just cannot imagine failing at my job, being fired, and then failing at my job again doing the same thing. Profession be damned. Know when to look in the mirror and either do better and try something else out. -
Cowboys only -10.5? Free money for those inclined.
GOAT replied to ClawOn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Great points here. Panthers will score their usual 17 PPG, and the cowboys should cover or miss covering by 1 or 2 points. 27-17 or 28-17 boys. -

isn't betting in NC legal now? You can pick from any of the apps, draft kings, fanduel, betmgm, stake, etc. Us Californians have to bet through Canada illegally. trying to lose? are you seriously one of those people that still think teams do that? -
We must take a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round. Someone that we can put in if Bryce truly shows no improvement. History shows that you can find a starting QB in these rounds. I do not trust our current scouting department to determine who that will be, hopefully it's a whole new department.

the total has dropped a whole point since yesterday. this game will continue to trend towards a lower scoring 10 point differential affair. -
We need to add a new non-negotiable to our next coaching hire. Last year it was, are you a college coach? Then it's a no. This year it needs to be, have you been relieved from your coaching duties? Then it's a no. The Panthers need a young, up-and-coming, innovative and untarnished coach to take the reigns.
