It is pointless to get these people to use logic instead of emotion when it comes to PJ walker.
-
seems like there's a lot of optimism.....

There was nothing wrong with the temple Baylor pipeline, we got some good players last season from those schools. SamFranklin, pjwalker, Hassan reddick (this offseason) robby anderson brayvion Roy etc..maybe you're not aware, but they need to keep that pipeline coming. -
Teddy will likely get cut if we can’t trade him.

I look at PJ walker like a college rookie, huge upside, but he needs polishing. Anyways happy to have him on the panthers. -

Same could be said for sam darnold, but your entitled to your opinion. -

that was hero ball. Oline gave up, they put PJ walker in at last min, when the game was already over. And he still push the ball downfield. Pj walker has showed potential, and I think he'll get more opportunity come 2021. -

Except Pj Walker is too good to tank with, you're talking about Grier. -

Pj Walker's old running mate. -
wow. they really could have ran with pj walker and left it at that untill 2022 if thats the case.

I already got warned by mods, we gotta go to the "tinder"?? Dont know what that is but..

Yes please tell me, a black person about race problems, I clearly dont have any personal experience. The fact that you dont see how insulting that statement is, is very telling. Talking about marching with dr. King and then using a term like "race card"? Press the reset button bruh.

https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/opinion/the-conversation/sdut-panthers-qb-cam-newton-racism-stance-backlash-2016aug15-htmlstory.html i'll just leave this here. carolina panthers fans for the most part are cool, but there has always been this subset of fans (i call them the Ford F150 fans) who are very cringe when met with the topic of race. and im putting that nicely.
-
thank you. decision making, reading defenses is all apart of the mental. its just a passive aggressive way of saying not smart enough. then you have the subconsciously being uncomfortable with a black guy being in charge.
-
im speaking on the history of the NFL and black qbs, speaking of race in the NFL makes you uncomfortable but dont pretend its never been a problem.
-
nobody saying those guys are unathletic cause they're white though, they are just not athletic, that goes for teddy bridgewater too. the stigma for black qbs is decades old and is still prevalent today in its own passive aggressive way.
-
it shouldnt have anything to do with race but thats what the foundation of the NFL believes.
-
Okay so I am so tired of the "he cant read defenses and his mental isnt good enough" excuse when the QB is black. (Yes I'm going there.) Only when the QB is black does this ever gets brought up, and all it is, is a passive aggressive way to say black QBs arent as smart as white qbs. There was a time when the NFL made sure to not have black QBs because they thought black QBs arent smart enough, only good for running and being crash test dummies.
-
Game managers only work when you have a supreme defense. Our defense is good, very good, but we're still growing.

To Sign or not to Sign - Bridgewater vs Draft. DRAFT
Tinamedina replied to CPcavedweller's topic in Carolina Panthers
half of the qbs starting arent "NFL caliber" qbs. their still starting though, panthers need to run with pj walker for the time being and go from there. -
sounds like a rookie coming out of college, i mean this is exactly what people are saying about trey lance. except unlike trey lance, pj walker started in college for more than just 1 season. i say let teddy start if thats what rhule wants, when teddy starts to mess up, bench teddy and roll with pj walker. draft next season if need be.
-
heres what im not understanding, if we can agree that p.j. walker can help win games, why oh why is it such a crazy idea to start pj walker (provided he wins out in training camp)? cause we all know when teddy starts to mess up, rhule is gonna want to put p.j. walker in.

Rodney smith and promote reggie bonnafon back from practice squad, he should have never been on practice squad in the first place. CMC reggie bonnafon and rodney smith, sounds like a good rb core. -
