  1. And if he is, so? thats his right.
  2. Only difference is sam has been a starter longer. that is literally it, oh, and pj walker is more athletic and mobile. More confident.
  3. Gotta disagree, the ball goes downfield practically by force, his passes sometimes dont have enough touches. As far as the lions? A win is a win. This defense is elite, with PJ walker playing it's an easy 9 wins or ten. What's wrong with a defense carrying the QB? Worked for other qbs.
  4. We can knock out like 9 or 10 wins. The defense alone is going to carry the team mix that with a athletic quarterback who can move the ball when he needs to,doesn't get shook up by pressure and you got like 9 wins.
  5. Let me just say this, yes PJ walker has to learn touch with his passes and some of those passes were dropped by the receivers. Also, it is because PJ walker is always trying to go downfield and not taking check downs. If he did, his completions would be like Griers.
  6. This argument is getting stale, the amount of temple players who have been cut. PJ Walker is just better and with development can be a starter. I'll stand on that.
  7. Their not sad, they just REALLY don't like PJ Walker.
  8. Naw the defense did everything by themselves and the qb had NOTHING to do with it. at least thats what certain carolina fans say.
  9. All of the mobile qb's have the same "it" factor. Its why andy dalton was booed and justin fields got a standing ovation, yes our oline needs to be more solidified BUT we still need a mobile qb.
  10. Actually that's pretty much what he said, bigg katt made a video about it and all.
  11. Grier himself said that during a press conference. Which goes to the false narrative that he wasn't given a chance. Can't give somebody a chance that doesn't even learn the playbook.
  12. no. i'm really not, Grier has been coddled as well, didn't even have the thought to learn the playbook at one time and somehow he is the victim? okay.
  13. There was nothing wrong with Alex Smith, he just was outplayed in almost every situation he was in. Thats not really on him, there was some bad luck involved as well. With the chiefs, alex smith was good, even went to the playoffs? but Mahommes was/is more flashy, athletic, basically had that "it" factor, kind of hard to deny that. Then he broke his leg in Washington, that was the bad luck. I wouldn't mind Alex Smith but with this oline the panthers need an athletic qb who can use his legs when he needs to.
  14. Yeah it does. They should have kept Heineke and traded Grier. They didn't, not in 2019,2020 and not now. Sounds fair to me.
  15. Coaches probably didn't trust him, considering Grier admitted to not knowing the playbook. How does PJ walker know it and not Grier? Idk.
  16. Not surprising checkdowns arent hard to clear. And yes, some of the receivers PJ walker threw to fail to catch those balls. "If it touches your hands you can catch it" - steve smith.
  17. Wrong. Grier was given a chance in 2019, kyle allen and taylor heineke played better, and they still cut heineke and kept Grier. They have been nothing but fair.
  18. This is the most yall have ever cared about a backup QB. Grier won, no he is not better.
  19. The OLINE is better than yall give it credit for. Sam darnold is who he is. The OLINE holds up long enough to make plays. If sam doesn't, it's on sam. Hes a 4 year vet, #NoCoddling
  20. Grier probably won. However, the receivers failed to catch alot of catchable footballs last night. But context aside, Grier won. But I said it before and I'll say it again, Grier is not the guy to go to if something should happen and they need the backup QB to go in.
