I'm just happy the term "cray cray" wasn't used!

I can only imagine it broke Ron's heart to have to have that talk with Davis. Glad he will finally hang it up and come home! True warrior deserves a rest.

Pretty much exactly where we will be for the next 2, possibly 3 or more years were we to give up what people are speculating the asking price would be. We give the farm for one player that NOW has a history of saying fug you organization for moves they made beyond his level of understanding. "I don't like the moves you made so i will demand a trade". Why oh why does anyone here want to pay that much, for a player that acts like that? Let's say we pay the farm for him, and after a year he doesn't gel well with our coach, or Teppers big brass ball style so many like to chalk up...and demands a trade again.....what then? When he is proven like Tom Brady the player can wield that kind of sword. But 2 year old player thinks he has that kind of power over a billion dollar organization...and people here actually want him in OUR organization?? SMH

JR donates $150 million to Wofford?
Ready 2 Win replied to Carl Spackler's topic in Carolina Panthers
He might get a lot of hate, but a appreciate a rich man giving a portion if not most of their wealth away before they pass on. Very unlikely his beneficiaries would give a penny away. -
A comprehensive breakdown of the top QBs in the draft.
Ready 2 Win replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I appreciate your assumption. You couldn't be more wrong however. If i were a dolt that worked at wal-mart, my feelings would have been exactly the opposite of what I said, and agreed that low level employees dictate management level decisions. You must be one of those fathers that let your kids dictate to you how to be a parent, yes? See how I did the same assumption on you? Nice try though. Cheers. -
A comprehensive breakdown of the top QBs in the draft.
Ready 2 Win replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Could not agree with this more! If we have the talent we think we do at coach and GM, any one of these could be developed into a great QB for our franchise, and not have to sell the farm to do so as seems to be the case for Watson. And just to add this point. I cant even understand why some people are willing to give up 3 years worth of 1st round picks and CMC for a player that is admittedly great, but wants out because he is not happy with the process UPPER management used to evaluate other upper management. Players are the stars and face, but lowest in terms of the hierarchy within the team. Its like the Wal-Mart cashier giving input and decided not to ome to work because they heard about how the regional manager hires the store manager. That is not the kind of diva I want. -
Suppose CMC is part of the deal for Watson
Ready 2 Win replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not opposed to trading CMC. As great as he has been, he is coming off injury, and plays a position where hits add up. Couple that with his use is our system so far has been to mask for inadequate play all around. We ran Cam into the ground abusing him and not giving him the tools to succeed. I would rather lose CMC and see him flourish elsewhere than watch yet another Panther play on a team and carry a load and shoulder too much burden because of our inability to field a "complete" team and instead rely on the generational talents of 1 to cover the failures of others. -
Teddy Bridgewater Unfollows Panthers on Instagram
Ready 2 Win replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I cant blame him. As something of a super small, yet real small fry celebrity in a foreign country where i reside...most yall regular folks and stalkers that try to hit a mofo up are weird. We just regular folks. We are told to engage with yall for marketing and such...but then yall get crazy and we have to stop. -
La Canfora on Tepper's desire for Watson/franchise QB
Ready 2 Win replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
So basically, we are in the running which has been reported and posted about over and over and over. Good thread. -
What did he say to us after he left...something about cutting his grass? His gripes with management and the business were what they were. But he ran his mouth and acted like a total diva about a business move even though he is all about business. No soup for you 89. You got your money and wife and kids and after-career. Great player but shitty teammate. Wishing him well and glad he is on the upside.

A trade including Teddy Bridgewater may cost us!
Ready 2 Win replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
When you preface a post with such bullshit as if the rest of the folks here and there opinions are somehow beneath you...you lose! OK Karen...tell us what we should think. -

If you didn't see it, and have no idea what to make of it...why did you feel a need to make a thread about it? Like wtf? -
LOl, you have to ask? The huddle reaction will be divas and bitchin and moaning and fist pumping no matter what happens.

Not really thrilled with "In Seattle". We are not Seattle and honestly not trying to emulate them. They were hot for a minute. They havent been hot for a decade or more.

How about creating a whole different site, and taking over/becoming the authority of NCAA football in the region? I'm sure you don't have time for it, but with your knowledge of running this site and being the authority for the Panthers is valuable experience (and maybe a little investment) + another person with a true passion for NCAA football/time to learn how to grow a community ( and maybe a little investment of their own) might be a cool idea.

Dude was always cool. Used to come into Fat Daddy's in Raleigh back in the day when I was in there as a cashier. Treated like royalty by the owners who were huge State fans, but he was always cool and down to earth. Cheers and enjoy the retirement!

Washington Football Team finalizing deal with Marty Hurney
Ready 2 Win replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fuggin us with historically bad contracts for players that any other GM would have seen were not producing to that level, on the end of their career etc FAR FAR FAR FAR outweigh and crippled us more that hitting on picks in the first round! Hurney isnt the talent scout and drafts who the people that work for him tell are a good fit. However contract negotiations don't pass through as many hands. So to say it shortly, he doesnt really get credit for the good things, but gets all the blame for the crap. Sucks in a way, but when you are making that level of bank in salary you really only need to have the job for a single year and you are set for life. I dont even understand why he wants to bother with it. Retire and enjoy your millions Hurney, or otherwise go to the Saints or Falcons -
Much better!
