Panthers Confidential - A Look Into the Panthers Offseason
Ready 2 Win replied to DeSim's topic in Carolina Panthers
They say the same about that so called well known BBQ place in Wilson. Both are poo really. Golden Corral "runs out of food" from time to time. No indication of quality however~ -
#1 UNC and #2Dook in NCAA Lacrosse Final 4 this weekend

I don't get into the division rivalry as much as most others, but considering the reigning Super Bowl ( yes, its not hard to spell it correctly) champs are also a division rival I would say Tampa Bay.

You go boy! -
Not cool. Best of wishes to that young man, and the Olsen family.

Ron "learning from his mistakes" in Carolina
Ready 2 Win replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Good on him to be realistic, realize things he should/could have done differently, and move forward making adjustments and trying to be better. Maybe sometimes a change of scenery is needed to help get that evolution started. I always liked Ron as a man and leader in the locker room. Cheers to him. -
Just out of curiosity...what makes you think Cam cares enough to do so, and how does it benefit him? Seriously. 50% if not more poo on him for little reason more than his skin color. The remaining factions poo on him for his real faults. I don't imagine any reason Cam would come back to retire here. Its time we stop thinking of players as our previous ex girlfriends that we hope to come back to us one day and boost our ego. Cam doesnt need to retire here. We moved on from him. He has moved on from us. The end.

I'm so glad the real meat of this thread went to debates about merch, and far away from crapping on a former player that is no longer with us.
-
I didnt quote you, nor did I quote the poster that suggested it. Not trying to start any bullS&%t. Just, no. Cam is not coming here as a QB. Its time to say goodbye to yesterday (Boyz to Men for the old heads)
-
ugg...this AGAIN? We had to endure the Watson mess getting pinned, and how Cam? Cam is not coming back here to be a backup to a 23 year old. For so many people that complain about Ron Rivera being stubborn and not willing to move on from vets...some of you are just like him.
-
Never wanted him even before the allegations. Any player that thinks he is more important and has more power than those above him isnt in line with the program
-
THIS. There is winning the short game, and then winning the LONG game. Tepper didn't invest billions bring in a guy like that. Dude would literally be poison! With that kind of attitude to sit out, and also all this other mess hanging over him I cant even understand why anyone here still clings to hope for him to be a Panther
-
No. Fug that guy.
-
Didn't really want this to happen. Its a great storyline for the NFL, but puts A LOT of pressure on the young man. Too much in my opinion for a first game. But I guess, if he has any hope of being our #1 going forward, he will man up!

You win bro. Relax.
-
Funny how you put that. I made a post and you commented. I replied ( and in my reply i gave you tthe win and victory) and now you say lighten up? Bro...its not that serious. You already won. You dont need to act like the victim.
-
You win. You have been successful in beating down my opinion. I dont care but its all good. Congrats on your victory~
-
Yay! Cheers and Bubbles for some ol BS. We compete for wins and Super Bowls. P.S. In 2021 if you are still typing superb owl and thinking that mess is cool you are lame AF
-
lol...you quote MY post in this thread as if I was the first to chime in on the idea? its 11 pages long now.
-
Id bring him in on a short term deal just to coach up Darnold. No more than two however. Poor kid never had a stud to sit under. Imagine all questions of this year were erased if we had a legit and proven starter at QB..and also that vet hand to groom Darnold? Get 'er done!

Every Teams Biggest Steal From The 2021 NFL Draft
Ready 2 Win replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
My vote goes to the nickname "Debo" RIP to the real Debo (Thomas Lister), but I am hoping Brown gives us a lot of the following type moments making those holes for CMC! -
You not wrong...but he got a bigger post count than you, so automatic win~~ Sadly this is how it works these days. You are lucky he isnt a mod because even you did nothing wrong you challenge a mod and boom~

Honestly I will give you that. After Mills, there is no othert player more boss than TD. However he did leave the team. I can't get down with retiring a number on OUR team for a player than played their last games for another team. Cam, Smitty in the same boat. But i would fill the ballot box in a vote to have a TD stature out front the stadium! To me that honors the man far more and some random jersey number.
-
Some folks put way too much stock into a number, as if it somehow represents the player. Personally I don't think ANY number should be retired, because what is important is the MAN...not the number he wore! That number passing to another person IN NO WAY minimizes the impact, love or effect that player had for the team. Same Mills being an exception as he literally died for the team (coaching while fighting cancer). Cam came in and was expected to be a shining star. The fact he was for at least a few seasons is not spectacular considering again...he came in gifted and what we saw of him was expected. Same for Luke. We knew he was a star from day one. The fact he played lights out is a given. Awarding players with retired numbers simply because they lived up to expectations is like rewarding your kids for simply doing their homework or brushing their teeth. We aren't supposed to reward people for doing the normal things, but rather the extra-ordinary. What more honors does Cam really need...and would he even care? I gonna suggest Cam is pretty happy in his life with his family, career, philanthropy, charities...etc. Us retiring his number ( the team that cut him) likely doesn't even matter to him.
