  1. DG has been here long enough that we all know he is not about to overpay for Norman's services. If Norman views himself as deserving of "franchise QB money" I don't see him on the roster beyond this coming season. Retaining and strengthening the d-line is going to take priority.
  2. Sorry to read about the job loss.  Bartenders that have a loyal following are like gold to their employers.  Your F&B Manager must be a dolt to fire you for an minor incident that only required a verbal counseling, if that.

You should be able to land on your feet with another major hotel in the city as bartenders who are able to increase liquor sales are always in demand.

If you are taking a few days off between jobs I hope you consider helping out Bernie Sanders in NC.  I am sure he would appreciate your time and effort.  Things are looking up now that he has won MI.  Who knows, you may make a big difference.

thank you kindly. i'll land on my feet, it's just really frustrating timing. thanks for the note.

  3. Dear Denver Broncos, Please make final preparations for your implosion approximately 20 hours from now. Signed, Carolina Panthers
  4. Wouldn't mind seeing tarheel come back to eat some crow after the SB. Won't be holding my breath tho.
  5. The Broncos will need to accomplish things they haven't been able to do well all season: Effectively pass the ball, eliminate turnovers, score over 30 points, stop the run to name but a few. Meanwhile... all the Panthers will need to do is do the same things they've done all year long: Dominate their opponents on both sides of the ball and win. Bottom Line Denver: To ensure victory the Broncos will need to reinvent themselves and accomplish things they haven't been able to do all season long. Bottom Line Carolina: To ensure victory the Panthers just need to be themselves. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14705931/denver-best-defense-football-facing-attack-yet-face-nfl
  6. Where is this defensive juggernaut the Broncos are so proud of? Barely played above .500 ball last half of the season Mediocrity thy name is Denver Broncos. Offense is worse than mediocre, it is just plain bad. If Denver had played a healthy opponent in the AFC playoffs they would be watching the SB from their couches.
  7. Broncos string of walking wounded playoff opponents has come to an end. Even with that advantage Denver could barely eek out a win. Their day of reckoning is near at hand.
  8. Denver's D is good no doubt. But they haven't faced an offense as powerful and mult-dimensional as the Panthers. At the same time Carolina's D is not being given the respect it deserves, even though they are likely as good or better than Denver's. Our coaches going more passive on D in the second half of so many games this year due to big leads certainly makes the Panthers D appear more porous than it actually is.
  9. Cam and the Panthers have progressively improved their game over the last several years and the course of this season. The history between the Seahawks and Panthers makes for a good rivalry, but all it is is history. While each team has lost some veterans, the rookies have been filling in nicely. Should make for an entertaining match up if you should make it to Charlotte.
  10. This^^^ Plenty of good posters here you've just got to ignore the juvenile comments of a few.
  11. Beat the Vikings and you'll get your chance to find out.
  12. There is no need to tear down Wilson's accomplishments to make Cam look better. We know Cam is the major reason for our team's success. The team with the best record in the NFL this year. Sounds like League MVP to me.
  13. Russell Wilson is one of the better QBs in football, but outside of the NW his name has not even entered into the debate for MVP. Fans in Seattle can complain all they want, but their team record is all they need to look at to know why their QB has not, is not, and will not be in the running for MVP this year.
  14. Glad to see the Panthers put the competition away in a convincing manner. Too many turnovers though. Better teams would have made us pay for those miscues.
  15. I'm down on the ground Brown. You can take your challenge and get out of town!
