    Yeah, this should be all Dave Tepper needs to know to make a decision. Matt Rhule is destroying the future of this team before our very eyes with his bad decisions. There are way too many entertainment choices out there to waste another Sunday afternoon watching a team incapable/unwilling to address its biggest impediment to winning, Matt Rhule.

    Hopefully Dave Tepper has now seen enough to realize Matt Rhule is not a cure for what ails the Panthers. Matt is what plagues them. Dave, for the love of all that is holy, please do the right thing and fire Matt ASAP, for he knows not what he has done.

    The only thing that should have followed Rhule saying, "I haven't done a good enough job" is, "so I'm resigning my position as HC of the Carolina Panthers effective immediately". Two years under Rhule and this team is in worse shape than the team he inherited. At least then there was hope for the Panthers future. As long as Matt remains HC this team has no hope.

    This situation is entirely of Matt Rhule's own making. If Matt thinks those boos for Sam weren't also directed at him, he's delusional.

    As bad as Matt Rhule is as a HC on game day, he is likely even worse when it comes to managing draft picks and free agency.

    This is why Rhule needs to go. If Tepper keeps Matt around for 2022, he is going to mortgage this team's future in order to save his job setting this franchise back even further. The Sam Darnold trade is gonna pale in comparison.

    After looking over Rhule's body of work here in Carolina, I'm not sure what Tepper could be seeing that jumps out and says, yeah Matt's really done well with ________, he deserves a third year.

    Maybe Gilmore mistakenly told the coaches that they should try and practice red zone scoring/two minute drills. He should be forgiven for not knowing the last guy that did that was sent packing to Denver.

    Excellent observation. If true, it is not a good look, but it is not nefarious either.

    Guessing Gilmore may have tried to drop some NFL knowledge on these coaches. Seems like the quickest way to end up sidelined when Matt Rhule is your coach. Poor play doesn't seem to do it.
