  1. This has got to be one of the most hilarious clusterfugs ever. That is, unless you happen to be David Tepper.
  2. Is this the appropriate forum for fantasy football threads?
  3. If Tepper stepped in and overruled Rhule, that doesn't bode well for Matt. Head Coaches don't tend to last long after they lose the trust of their employers.
  4. He said he was vaccinated. There is actual video of him saying he's vaccinated. Not sure why you are missing that. Aaron Rodgers in his own words, 10 Nov 2021, with a public apology: "Look, I shared an opinion that is polarizing, I get it, and I misled some people about my status, which I've taken full responsibility of, those comments. https://www.nfl.com/news/aaron-rodgers-full-responsibility-misleading-comments-covid-19-vaccine
  5. Cam brings instant leadership and credibility to the Panthers QB position. Paired with CMC, Panthers could surprise some of our opponents. Joe Brady has just be thrown a life preserver.
  6. Rhule is eating a big slice of humble pie this morning.
  7. Smart decision to salvage the season. Cam is gonna energize this team.
  8. While I appreciate what you're saying, in the final analysis, Rhule has failed for two years to properly address the short comings of his offense, and in trying to fix them, misdiagnosed the situation and made things even worse. If Rhule isn't on the hot seat with Tepper by now, he needs to be.
  9. Also, AZ was quick to cut ties with their previous HC (1 year)when it was clear things weren't going to work out. Now they are challenging for the top of their division with LA, SF and Seattle. Sometimes, to have a successful franchise, you've gotta know when to cut bait.
  10. Yeah, looking at TB's performance this season suggests he likely wasn't as big a problem as many Panther fans believed he was last year. It should be pretty clear that the Panthers downgraded their QB position when they dumped TB for SD. It's hard not to at least partially hold Brady responsible for our inept offense as well.
  11. Yep, we've just completed the easiest portion of the Panthers season 4-5 (1-5 the last 6 outings). By all indications, fans who thought the first 9 weeks were brutal are really gonna hate what the rest of the season has to offer.
  12. This. Panthers are going nowhere this year. A potential win or two more with Cam isn't going to turn this team around and make them into playoff contenders.
  13. Rhule is acting like he is the smartest person in the room and gambling with house money. Tepper is being played for a fool.
  14. In my mind, if you're intent on building a team for the long haul, you don't risk precious draft capitol on longshots within the first year or two. Once the foundation is in place, perhaps, but not before. If the QB you want isn't available immediately, find a placeholder that keeps the team competitive till your guy (or someone similar) comes along. Same goes for picking inexperienced coaching staff. Why??? Rhule reminds me of a gambler on a losing streak.
  15. The worst part of all this wasn't that Rhule took a calculated risk on Sam Darnold. The worst part of all this was Rhule had no Plan B when Sam Darnold didn't work out.
  16. The more Matt Rhule has to justify his QB decisions going into season two, the less likely he's around for season three. The QB controversy is only going to get more intense as this season progresses.
  17. Physical talent isn't enough in the NFL, for whatever reason, Sam just doesn't have the ability to process the what he is seeing real time on a consistent basis.
  18. Dom Capers was fired in 1998, two years after signing a Ten year deal with the Jerry Richardson's Panthers. Yeah, tightwad JR is a pauper compared to David Tepper. Is firing Rhule two years into his seven year contract possible? It's more than possible, right now I say it's likely.
