This pretty much covers it. Matt Rhule is only guilty of being inept at his job. No need to hate the guy. Unfortunately, Matt's job has a massive impact on the Panthers organization. He is the living embodiment of the Peter Principle, promoted above his level of competence. The fact that Matt continues to be employed by the Panthers despite his incompetence isn't his fault.

I shudder at the thought of Matt Rhule being given a third year. This organization could be handicapped for years thanks to Matt's ineptitude.

Panthers have never retained a coach after a season with 5 wins or less until Matt Rhule. Panthers performance under Dave Tepper these last four years has been worse than mediocre. Hopefully, Dave comes to terms with Matt Rhule's substandard performance and does the right thing.
