  1. Just guessing but, being paid 6 Billion dollars for an 800 million dollar investment will likely go a long way towards soothing Daniel Snyder misgivings about his 24 years of failed ownership.
  2. Either way, it's no big deal. Might even say the difference is miniscule.
  3. 18 years with a single sports franchise? That's got to be longer than most in the industry. A good run, best of luck to Steven in his future endeavors.
  4. Physical size alone is not enough to draw any conclusions. However, everything else being equal, larger is better than smaller or at least that's what I've been told. These factors may play a much larger role in the Panthers final decision. 1. Style of play 2. Processing speed 3. Release time 4. Arm strength 5. Pocket awareness
  5. AR would be a huge (and unnecessary) gamble for everyone involved here in Carolina. AR simply doesn't have the experience or skills needed to be a first year starter. The downside of missing on this pick could set the franchise back several years. Seattle is a much better situation for AR. He can sit behind a veteran for 2-3 years refining his craft without the pressure he'd be put under as a Panther.
  6. I prefer tall tales over short stories. Tall Tale: Panthers are picking CJ Stroud.
  7. Pretty sure the original name for Panthers blue is Electric Blue. Might have changed over the years.
  8. Sheesh! Read between the lines people! Rivera is basically admitting he screwed up on Tepper's meatball quiz.
  9. Meh, of course fans are going to respond to having the #1 pick by rehashing the same tired arguments for their favorite selection in countless threads for months on end. Yeah, that's a drag, but it is also temporary and will be soon forgotten. Don't miss the forest for the trees. TL/DR: Celebrate that the Panthers have finally made a bold move to end the team's long relationship with mediocrity.
  10. Best of luck to Sam. He appears to have landed in the best case scenario for a QB. If Shanahan can't help him, I doubt anyone else can.
  11. Lamar's ham-fisted approach to contract negotiations is largely responsible for where he finds himself today. It should be a cautionary tale for professional athletes going forward.
  12. As Russell aged he became heavier and slower. Slower Russell was less elusive. Less elusive Russell was less effective. Russell's style of play simply doesn't age well in the NFL. A cautionary tale for the Panthers?
  13. Risk/Reward Choosing an NFL QB is similar to making any investment. While there is an element of risk in most investments, taking unnecessary risks often leads to disaster. CJ appears to have all the skills necessary to lead the Panthers to their ultimate goal and w/a lower level of risk. So, why would the Panthers take on more risk than necessary with a different QB selection?
  14. If you enjoy NFL football go to BOA. If you enjoy the latest fashions go to Paris.
  15. I don't believe there's been a single pass thrown by a 5'10'' NFL QB that's been batted in decades, maybe ever.
  16. Current uniforms look great. If it's not broken, you can't fix it.
  17. Yep, these days being first with the news is more important than being accurate, or even right.
