Can't wait for the Washington Commodes vs. the Cleveland Browns
-
What is the likelihood that if Flores is hired it brings Watson back into the fold?
-
I believe all your points may have played a factor in Rhule's "awakening". McAdoo's personal contacts/established relationships within the league likely didn't hurt either.
-
I'm skeptical that Rhule has wised up in a matter of weeks. Perhaps now having a former NFL HC/OC with years of experience on staff to mentor him has helped? I'm certainly not joining the Panthers as their new OC unless I've got final say on the people hired to assist me.

CMC is better on the field in some capacity than off the field in none. Reduce his wear and tear by using him less as a RB (as others have already suggested) and more as a receiver. He might just make it till the end of his current contract contributing to the team's good fortunes rather than in a cast, sitting on his couch, watching the Panthers struggle without him.

Howard Hesseman, the actor and improvisational comedian best known for playing a stuck-in-the-’60s radio disc jockey in the TV sitcom “WKRP in Cincinnati,” died on Saturday in Los Angeles. He was 81. His wife, Caroline Ducrocq, said he died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center of complications from colon surgery last summer. Mr. Hesseman received two Emmy nominations for playing Dr. Johnny Fever on “WKRP in Cincinnati,” which ran on CBS for four seasons from 1978 to 1982. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/30/arts/television/howard-hesseman-dead.html

What is Rhule going to give up for Jimmy G?
NanuqoftheNorth replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Chances are Teddy would've still been on the team if he hadn't called out the coaches for their incompetence. TB was far from perfect, but he was miles better than Sammy (who we are apparently keeping). -

Haha, after tonight 49ers might be willing to take Darnold and a ham sandwich to get rid of Jimmy. -

Yeah, there were several QBs that were available that wouldn't have cost the Panthers a single draft pick, many that had better records than Sam. Baffling that Rhule would sign off on trading for a QB that was worse than just about any other available in free agency. Is it possible none of the alternatives would consider Carolina or is Rhule simply that bad of a judge when it comes to QBs? -
Rams get home field advantage.

Awesome playoffs this year! Can't wait to watch the Super Bowl! Go Bengals!
-
Yeah he can, but not in a good way.
-
Yep, Stafford is better than anything the Panthers have, but he doesn't have enough talent to overcome the disadvantage of playing for a Matt Rhule coached team. Then again, who does?
-
Jimmy is a double agent.
-
Jimmy comes through in the clutch!
-
Hahaha, it's over! Rams win!!!!
-
Rams have no one to blame other than themselves if they lose tonight.
-
Still plenty of time to turn this game around if you're the Rams.
-
Rams better pull their heads out of their posteriors or they'll be losing their third game this season to the niners.
-
49ers fighting for every yard. Looks like they want this game more ATM.
-
Rams coaching staff trying to give this game away by providing the 49ers with a short field.

Matt Rhule is clueless. Can't manage his way out of a wet paper bag. He's not an Xs and Os guy. Matt has virtually no NFL experience beyond these last two years. He chose to surround himself with other coaches with limited NFL knowledge. We've witnessed the results of his QB quality control efforts. No need for any NFL team to wait 7 years to "figure out" if their Head Coach knows what he's doing. No fanbase is waiting 7 years for their HC to figure it out.

Yeah, but not before it was too late. Dave allowed Marty Hurney to play a major role in hiring Matt Rhule. The damage was already done before David Tepper knew what had happened. Even so, I'm likely giving Tepper too much credit as he hasn't fired Matt Rhule after two of the worst seasons in Panthers history. Fun Fact: Every Panther coach (other than Matt Rhule) has been fired w/less than 6 wins in a season.

From worst record to Superbowl in 2 seasons
NanuqoftheNorth replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhule 2026: I've won multiple Super Bowls as the Panthers Head Coach (fans just can't see it). Tepper: Matt said it, so it must be true. -
Don't confuse owner incompetence and mismanagement with patience. David Tepper: Marty Hurney is a genius!
