  1. You would rather trade (2) 1st and a 2nd for an unproven rookie than (3) 1st and a 2nd for a top 5 proven QB just entering his prime
  2. If your GM can't continue to build around Watson in rounds 2-7, then you have the wrong GM. If 1st round picks were all it took, Marty would have won multiple super bowls as our GM
  3. Not saying Miami doesn't want him, but they did hire Charlie Frye as their QB coach last week. Charlie and Tua have worked together previously
  4. Ultimately I would pull the trigger. I would prefer to keep 39 this year, and replace it with our 2022 2nd This is the year for a LT in the 2nd
  5. LT - draft in the 2nd round. Eichenburg, Radunz, Mayfield may be options. LG - sign Joe Thuney. C - Paradis (one last year) RG - draft Humphrey, Meyers, or Dickerson in the 3rd round. Play here for a year, move to center in 2022. Draft a RG in 2022 RT - resign Moton You have 2 rookies starting, but have experienced guys playing next to them.
  6. Draft, maybe free agency if you can find the right deal.
  7. Obviously they would prefer Burns, but is it possible that YGM would have enough value to add to the picks? I know he had a few injuries, but he showed some promise as a rookie.
  8. Have they announced who their defensive coordinator will be? I only ask because they have been a 3-4 defense for years.
  9. Prefer to replace in the draft. Humphrey, Meyers, Dickerson, Jackson, Meinery all look good. If not through the draft, I know Linsley from Green Bay and Andrews from the Patriots are free agents. Like i said, if possible. You always look to improve where you can, and center could definitely be improved
  10. Yes, and we could trade down a few spots, regain a 2nd, then draft Darrisaw, Surtain, or Horn
  11. I would easily give our 2nd for Stafford. We can trade down a few spots and regain that 2nd
  12. 100% agree! Never has a QB been faced with all that Tua was. Horrible injury, Surgery, still gaining strength in hip drive (power/ball velocity), covid, no rookie camp, no preseason, limited training camp with less reps than others due to recovery, no weapons in Miami, no running game in Miami, 3 rookies on the Oline (struggled with blitzes and new looks), and despite all of this was thrown into the middle of a playoff race with a Vet QB looking over his shoulders.
  13. Miami - Young team ready to compete, draft picks, good young coach, no state income tax, South Beach
  14. Heck no to pick 8 for Love, that is crazy. Love was selected 24th overall, has not seen the field to prove anything, and has already lost one year from his rookie contract. This puts him in the range if a 2nd round pick at best.
  15. I could see them hiring him, it want change Watson's mind though. Houston has still failed to see that this is about more than a coach. This is about a failed promise, and about the front office, especially Easterly.
  16. I agree, and have said all along that he should get his free meal and tell them thanks, but no thanks. He wasn't good enough before Watson threw a fit, then he isn't good enough now. He knows he was being used. Houston is a place for a new coach to place his head on a chopping block from the start.
  17. Its an easy YES! Look at it this way. To move up to the 3rd pick this year. Picks 8, 40, and 2022 1st. That is (2) 1st and a 2nd for an unproven QB To get Watson, you are giving up (3) 1st for a proven top 5 QB This is not a hrad decision at all. If your GM can't continue to build the roster in rounds 2-7 then you have the wrong GM
  18. That settles it, here are our picks by round..... 1 - JaMarr Chase WR LSU 2 - Tyson Campbell CB Georgia 3 - Tyler Shelvin DT LSU 4 - Ben Cleveland Guard Georgia 5 - Trey Hill Center Georgia 6 - Jacoby Stevens Safety LSU 7 - Tre McKitty TE Georgia Next 10 Super Bowls belong to us...LOL
  19. Like Fittereer said in his press conference, draft a QB each draft, when you hit on one you keep him around.
