  1. That was Josh McDaniels. Josh: Can I hold your hand Daddy? Bill: No, not in public!
  2. Mills is from the Atlanta area, and was the top ranked QB in his Senior class coming out of High School. Was bitten by the injury bug which has allowed him to only play in 14 games, with only 11 starts. He has the talent to be very successful if he can stay healthy. Will need to sit behind and learn from veteran QB to start his career.
  3. Interesting stuff! Minshew 3rd best passer rating against the blitz, and his on target throw % was among league leaders. Two important things to be successful in the Joe Brady system. Article says that Minshew has a gorgeous deep ball and plays fearless. Again, total opposite of Teddy. Minshew 7-13 is a higher winning percentage than Teddy posted at 5-11 last year with a better roster. Minshew has 37 TD in 20 games for an average of 1.85 per game. Teddy had 15 in 16 games last year for 0.9375 per game with much better weapons and better system. On a side note, Minshew had 21 TD in only 9 games this past year for 2.333 per game. Minshew has 11 Interceptions in 20 games for 0.55 per game. Teddy had 11 in 16 games last year for 0.6875 per game. Minshew has posted a 93.1 passer rating in 20 games. Teddy was at 92.1 last year. When looking at some of the numbers, also remember that Teddy has a lot more NFL experience and makes nearly $20 million more per year. I say offer them a 2022 4th and see where talks go from there.
  4. My guess, the Jaguars just signed CJ Beathard to be their backup. Sign the free agent to replace Minshew, get a pick for Minshew. Another pick to build the team
  5. If we could find a trade partner for Teddy, then bring Minshew in I would be fairly happy. I believe Minshew at worst is equal to Teddy. The cap space created may give us a chance at signing a couple more free agents. If we are able to draft a QB, then Minshew is a better/cheaper option as a backup going forward.
  6. I personally feel the original trade of Tunsil for (2) 1st and a 2nd was robbery while Houston was desperate. However, I think Miami got hosed yesterday.
  7. Yep, and better than a lot of them
  8. Thanks for posting. Brady will move up draft boards after today.
  9. I think Eichenberg will be a good NFL tackle. Carman and Jackson are probably looking at playing guard in the NFL, and I think both will be very good guards.
  10. My favorite slot receiver in this draft, and can play outside some too. He may be there at 39, but could also work his way into the late 1st round. Kid can run all of the routes, has great hands, short area quickness, top end speed, creates separation, and drops his hips and stays on balance at the top of routes.
  11. Might want to look at Brady Christensen from BYU. Guy is more athletic than I thought. He just broke the broad jump record for Olinemen by 3 inches. Broad Jump - 10'4" Vertical - 34" Bench - 30 reps Waiting to see the rest of his results.
  12. Was about to say the same. Alternative, IF we can trade Teddy for a pick and flip the pick for Minshew, it would essentially be the same result.
  13. Better than running Teddy back out there. Not to mention, I would still be looking for an upgrade in the draft if one of the 4 fell or via trade, in which Minshew would be a valid backup compared to our current situation. Also, it should be noted that I am a big fan of Spencer Rattler in next years draft.
  14. Super Bowl!!!! Okay, on a serious note about kickers. If Jose Borregales goes undrafted, Panthers need to get him and watch him beat out Slye and Amendola. I would be okay drafting him in the 7th, Borregales is very very good.
  15. Yes! Also Jacksonville has signed CJ Beathard as a backup QB. Go get Minshew for a future pick of possible. Use the draft to build other areas. If possible trade back from 8 and get another 2nd rounder
  16. Roy at NT and Brown at DE on apparent run downs. Brown to NT with Fox at DE on apparent passing downs
  17. Ran today. I was expecting a little slower. He did a lot of moving in the pocket stuff today, didn't see much athleticism. Kid is smart, quick with processing, and accurate. He will need a team to be able to use those traits. Really hope he doesn't go to the Saints
  18. Mac ran better than I expected 1st - 4.82 2nd - 4.79 Certainly not a read option guy....lol, but better than I expected
  19. Surtain, Dickerson, Barmore, Leatherwood are specific players we should be there to watch
  20. Just saying, it would not surprise me. Especially if its only a 1 year sit. My opinion for us, sit at 8 and see what happens. If you are trading up, you go to 3 to make sure you get Wilson/Fields
  21. That's true, but just depends how Cincy views each player. I just think it will be hard to get them to trade. They don't have a long history of trading picks. I still think Atlanta is going QB. They can sit somebody 1 or 2 years behind Ryan, and be ready to go. They may not see another top pick like this anytime soon. They would also be blocking us, their division rival at the same time.
