  1. OSU is the only Big 10 team that belongs in the conversation with the upper tier of college football. Speaking of Michigan, I would dare say that not only OSU, but Penn State and Michigan State have had more success in recent memory. Who would have ever thought the Big 10 would be more competitive in college basketball than college football
  2. Yes Pittsburgh is a long shot, but it is Pittsburgh and good things happen for them. I agree Denver seems like a great fit, that team is talented. He better be ready to compete with Mahomes for the division though. Miami does still like Tua and for good reason. Tua has shown growth after a tough year coming off that horrid injury. The Oline in Miami is the absolute worst in the league, and one of the worst if not the worst ever graded. Something like 40 more QB pressures than the next worst this year. They also have no, like zero in the run game while trying to run a lot of RPO stuff. They must not know what the "R" stands for
  3. Valid points on Pittsburgh, but I wouldn't bet against them either. They have a lot of good pieces in place and it seems that talking involving Tomlin is at an all time high. Finding a franchise QB isn't easy, but Rodgers looks like he could go another 4-5 years.
  4. Denver, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Washington all have workable cap space, need for upgrades at QB, and rosters that could win with Rodgers. I could include Miami in that group if they also fix that horrid Oline
  5. Exactly! The media pushes Michigan, Notre Dame, and Texas along with a couple more, and fans buy into the narrative, but facts are they aren't anywhere near what they used to be. Teams like Nebraska and Tennessee don't get that hype and their fans have came around to reality.
  6. See that Fournette is activated and back for the Bucs.
  7. DJ trying to help us fans make Rhule look incompetent. He wants Rhule out of Carolina too.
  8. Had Bengals and Packers yesterday. Got Rams and Chiefs today.
  9. Taking that a step further there was only 1 TD pass and 5 int's total between the 4 QB
  10. Part of me says no way he leaves. Another part of me could see it as I could see him being the type of guy who sees the run ending. Brees is retired, and they're in cap hell. Payton probably has no interest in a rebuild.
  11. Jeremiah is probably my favorite draft guy on TV, but I really hope he is wrong here.
  12. Yes! Is the Oline a problem? Sure it is, but QB is a bigger problem. If anybody needs proof just look at the Bengals. Their line is just as bad, but the difference is they have Burrow.
  13. Personally I wouldn't mind Flores at all, and definitely prefer him over Rhule. If Flores came here, we would need to add a true FS to the backend of the defense. Chinn would be an absolute terror to offenses at SS with Flores. Replace Carter with a thumper. Add depth up front. Re-sign Gilmore, and the defense under him would truly be top 3 in the league. Just know that if it were to happen, the Watson rumors become more intense than ever. You would be combining a coach and owner that were both willing to pull the trigger before suits are settled.
  14. I keep hearing it was mutual between Flores, Grier, and Ross to draft Tua. Where it went south was when Deshaun Watson became available. DW's fiance lives a couple houses down on the same neighborhood as Flores, and apparently DW and Flores have a good relationship. This drove a lot of the DW to Miami rumors because Flores wanted him. Their GM is just a yes middle man. Owner Ross said they could pull the trigger on a trade if all 22 counts were taken care of first. When 4 of the 22 refused to settle, Ross put a stop to the trade. Flores wanted to pull the trigger anyway.
  15. I think the Giants are a possibility, but I also think the Giants and Daboll have mutual interest. Miami is my favorite AFC team, 2nd favorite team behind the Panthers. I was a Miami fan before Carolina got a team. I still follow them closely. Flores - his teams have started slow each year and came on strong. A lot of that is personnel change over each offseason as Miami had a lot picks recently. His defenses have been really good most of the time. We have good defensive personnel here for his defensive schemes, better personnel than he had in Miami. The biggest concerns from the Miami side is the handling of Tua, and that he has had 4 offensive coordinators in 3 years. I will add that believe it or not, their Oline was/is actually a good bit worse than ours. Their Oline ranks near or may be the worst ever recorded this year. My opinion Flores would be a good hire, but he must bring better Offensive coaches than he had in Miami
  16. Harbaugh to Miami - he and their owner are both Michigan guys and good friends. Rhule to Michigan Flores to Carolina It really is a 3-ring circus!!!
  17. Traded down 3 times in round 1 and gained (3) 2nd rounders and a 3rd rounder. Also got a 2nd in 2023 from Philly and a 3rd in 2023 from Dallas. I also traded picks 143 and 251 for 177, 191, and 224. Pick 224 is not listed (wouldn't fit on screen shot) but was punter Matt Araiza. Oline could be rebuilt here, but would probably have their lumps playing together early. Like I could see all 4 as starters with Moton. Wyatt brings help on the Dline, McKinley is a true FS with lots of potential and moves Chinn to his natural SS spot. Rose replaces Carter at ILB. Weaknesses at all 3 levels covered. Ruckert is a good all around TE to team with Tremble. Could become a good duo. Haskins brings us a power back with skills. Haskins and Hubbard could team up to limit CMC to 10 carries or less per game and allow him to play a lot in the slot. Sterns is a good add to the WR room.
  18. At least it isn't Jeff Mixon! There, I was being positive and supportive.
  19. The 49ers didn't trade 3 first round picks to get Lance. They traded 2 (2022 and 2023) firsts along with their 2022 3rd to move from 12th to 3rd in the 2021 draft.
  20. I 100% hate bringing this up, but its also just a fact. Tim Kelly is very well liked by Deshaun Watson. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/deshaun-watson-advocating-for-texans-to-keep-offensive-coordinator-tim-kelly-on-houston-coaching-staff-in-2021/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwia6t-jpbz1AhWHTTABHRHUDfsQFnoECBEQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3-4ZYWhqgoJSS2DjBotjoy Getsy is a name that is interesting, but also worried because I know he is propped up by Rodgers. Another name I would like to hear is Mike Kafka, but again Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid.
  21. Sidelines protected, middle wide open. Get the ball in a playmakers hands with a wall of blockers in front. Dallas should have an example on film since the Chiefs did it to them. 1h8qnmB.mp4
  22. Burrow and Chase along with Justin Jefferson and Terrace Marshall. We drafted the later and didn't play him while Jefferson was a rookie stud and now Chase is a rookie stud
