Chiefs picked Tennessee Guard Trey Smith in the 6th round last year, hopefully Mays is as productive as Smith
-
Good pick, but being round 6 pick 199 I was low key hoping for Carson Strong, a slow footed QB with a big arm that is smart. Patriots drafted a guy just like that in round 6 at pick 199 years ago

Round 4 Pick 120: Brandon Smith, LB, Penn State
TheProcess replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Freak athlete, just doesn't have LB instincts. -
Yes we made the correct pick. His footwork, balance, and hand usage is really really good
-
Yep, and honestly we need rid of Sam and PJ, so drafting another QB at some point is not a bad idea.
-
Perrion Winfrey from Oklahoma Neil Farrell Jr from LSU
-
Would be a great pick, and would start at LG immediately and push BC into a swing backup role
-
DE is very weak at this point, maybe Kingsley Enagbare or Michael Clemons, but thats about it Guard intrigues me because there are options that could potentially push Christensen to backup swing T.....Darian Kinnard, Jamaree Salyer are my two favorites ILB has a few interesting guys, Brandon Smith is a freak athlete but lacks the instincts that a Jeremiah Gemmell has

Likely and Okonkwo are great athletes from the TE/Flex

Baltimore and Eagles looking to trade up....
TheProcess replied to Lurk21's topic in Carolina Panthers
Heck, I would ask for both! Last year Miami traded from 12 to 6 with Philly. Here's how that trade looked Miami - 2021 pick 6 Philly - 2021 pick 12, 2023 1st, 3rd rd pick We would be dropping 2 spots lower. Miami made that trade for a WR. -
Slater and Sauce with a slight trade up from pick 70 (Brady Christensen pick) to draft Davis Mills
-
This is the 2nd year in a row for the Eagles. They made a pick for pick trade with Miami last year about this same time.
-
Smallish size with unusually short arms, and he plays center. Great talent, but those things could hurt his draft stock.
-
Of course, that's true with any pick received in a trade. Just stating as of today Miami got a 3rd for a guy that was 4th on their depth chart and misses lots of games due to injury. Parker just doesn't fit into the new coaches scheme.
-
They did lose Welker to the Patriots, but that was not the last WR they lost to them. Isaiah Ford would be the last, and he ended up getting cut and signed back to tge Dolphins practice squad
-
Good trade by Miami. Parker is hurt every year it seems. They get a better pick than the Cowboys got for Amari Cooper. Parker was about to he the 4th receiver in Miami this year. And just Agholor last year, Mac will rarely target Parker because Mac just isn't very good
-
Exactly!
-
I can 1000% promise you that you do NOT want that.

REPORT: Armstead is between Chicago, Miami, and Carolina.
TheProcess replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
They do need oline that bad. Their Oline was the worst in the league and it wasn't even close. They set records for being bad -
Completely agree
-
1 - Bucs 2 - Saints/Panthers 3 - Panthers/Saints 4 - Falcons Brady is back and guys are following him to win a title. Panthers and Saints split last year, and now that Payton is gone they will take a step back. Allen may be Rhule level bad. Panthers have made a few good moves too. Falcons have a good HC, but lack in talent and have now pissed off their franchise QB

David Newton's "cryptic" comment got me to thinkin
TheProcess replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Philly's value of Minshew definitely plays a part. Of course, so does the Panthers in that situation as you don't want to overpay. Some will say the pick will get less in return because the QB class is weak, which is possible. However, just look at last year. Philly (interesting) traded pick 6 to Miami for pick 12, 2022 1st, and 2022 3rd. Miami made that trade to draft a receiver -

Yep, Mac is a game manager only, no matter how hard the media tries to put him on a pedestal. Let him switch places with Lawrence and watch what happens. Mac literally walked into a perfect situation -

Like the parameters of the idea, but we need more back from Philly unless you are valuing Minshew as a 1st rounder? Going from 6 to 15 is worth an extra 1st and more
