  1. Yikes, the 8th pick? Not straight up, no way! Trade back a few spots, grab another 2nd this year so we have (2) 2nd's. Trade the new 1st and a 4th next year for Stafford and Frank Ragnow. OR Trade pick 8 and our 3rd for Stafford, Ragnow, and their 2nd
  2. I think Chicago at 20 is VERY interesting. If we could get 20, 52, and a 2022 1st from them, you have to take it. Allen Robinson is leaving and Trubisky may leave as well from an already bad offense, and they have very little cap space. Their pick could be top 15, and possibly top 10 next year. Their pick and our pick next year gives us a real chance to move up for Spencer Rattler
  3. Someone will probably fall, but we have to also like that QB. If not, I hope we trade back, grab another 1st for next year, and pick a LT or CB this year. Next year we would have (2) 1st to start negotiations to move up for Spencer Rattler. Hopefully there would be a willing trade partner.
  4. Pick 8: 1 - Penei Sewell (miracle) Pick 10-14 after trade down: 2 - Rashawn Slater 3 - Patrick Surtain jr. Pick 15-20 after trade down: 4 - Christian Darrisaw 5 - Jaycee Horn 6 - Christian Barmore 7 - Owusu- Koromoah
  5. In this scenario the 3rd pick is your only option unless the Bengals owner finally changes his mind. That guy refuses to trade picks, and has made it known publicly that he despises the idea.
  6. Bucs - Devin White or Antoine Winfield Chiefs - Chris Jones or Tyreek Hill Edit: I love Kelce, didn't pick him due to age. Will be 32 next year, at his size and considering the mileage already, how long will his speed and athleticism hold out? I don't know tge answer, so I went younger guys.
  7. Of these teams... Washington, Vikings, Patriots, Raiders, Bears Looking at each, consider potential cap space, key free agents, and draft picks, which team is most likely to have the worst season next year? I was looking at the Bears. Less than $10 million in cap space. Touristy and Allen Robinson free agents from an already bad offense. Picking 20th.
  8. Whatever dude. You didn't think they had interest, they did. Patriots wanted Teddy last year, Bill was upset he couldn't make it happen. I remember seeing tge interview when he was asked who their next target would be. Their fall back option ended up being Cam. Like I said, the $20 million price tag could very well change their interest. We probably gave that stupid contract to convince him to choose here over them. Idc if they are still interested or not, find the best trade possible. Giving a first and second for Stafford, maybe the Lions take Teddy as a one year mentor to their new guy. That is for the front office to figure out.
  9. Here is another one that I "made up" https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.profootballrumors.com/2020/03/patriots-interested-in-teddy-bridgewater&ved=2ahUKEwield6RjLbuAhWt2FkKHQpPBawQFjAPegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw1T5FWbbtUaVzzR_7LMQ9Zi

  12. Yes, the Patriots did want Teddy last offseason. Bill was upset they didn't get him. Now, I am not sure they want him at $20 million, and that is the issue
  13. Trade him for best return. I really think Bill and the Patriots would be interested. They wanted him last offseason when he unfortunately came here. He fits their short passing game
  14. Deal! This team competes with Stafford. - Add Stafford, pick 40 and 2022 1st - CMC back healthy - Young defense had no rookie camp, no pre-season, very little training camp, and all this while having a new coaching staff and system last year. They will be better going into next year.
  15. We certainly have the weapons in CMC, Moore, Anderson, and Samuel to fit this. Joe Brady also has the scheme, unfortunately we had Teddy.
  16. We have to at least try. Not making an attempt to get DW4 would be absolutely stupid!
  17. The problem is that THEY were dumb enough to make the promise. A promise is a promise, either stick to them or don't make them. I do believe there is more to this than is being reported though, and I believe current and former players are playing a part.
  18. Yes, eventually that better opportunity will come. If he takes the Houston job, and stumbles due to a bad situation, and gets canned in 3 years, then he will struggle to get another opportunity.
  19. I actually agree that he should not be so involved. However, the front office made him a promise, and then broke that promise. You don't make promises then back out, especially to your star player, creates trust issues. If you don't want him involved, don't make the promise. They messed up long ago making the promise.
  20. This could happen. However, if I am EB I take my free meal, and tell them Thanks, but no Thanks. Here are the reasons. First off, they didn't want him before Watson complained. Why go to a place you weren't good enough for just so they can keep their star player. You are either wanted or not wanted, and he obviously wasn't originally wanted. Secondly, there is no guarantee that hiring EB convinces Watson to stay. His mind may be made up, and just ready to move on. It takes more than a coach to build a winner, Watson does not believe in McNair or Easterly. Third, Houston is not good, and not anywhere near competing. They are capped out, and have no 1st or 2nd round pick this year. In other words, no immediate hope of improving, while all the potential in the world that Watson leaves, making them bottom dwellers. Any coach going there is probably fired in 3 years because there is little chance of winning in that time frame. Fouth, patience is a virtue. I know it is tough, and EB just wants a chance. But going to a dumpster fire like Houston, losing games, and getting fired in 3 years just drives a narrative of why he wasn't hired previously. Wait for a better opportunity, a better foundation, and give yourself a real chance to succeed. In the meantime, try to win rings in KC.
  21. Best option for Houston, hire a coach Watson likes. Then spend February with the new coach trying to get him to stay. If, and only if that doesn't work out, then start trade chatter March 1st which gives them two weeks to find the best deal, then trade him the very first day (17th) allowed. Get it over with, move on, and stop all the national coverage. Repair the image as much as possible before the draft. Houston currently has no 1st or 2nd round picks, so no need to scout the top guys. Get this trade over with, get your picks, and start scouting those too guys before its to late.
