I agree with OP that the Patriots could be a landing spot. I will also add Washington. Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer! He will look good, then horrible, then good, then horrible. There's a reason the guy has never been in a playoff game. Also, if SF trades Jimmy G. to the Patriots, Teddy could be a good stop gap, bridge, vet backup for their rookie. They could trade Jimmy, then trade for Teddy and come out with the better picks.

8 - Sewell, LT - franchise LT we have needed for years. 39 - Wyatt Davis, RG - ranked top 20 prior to injury in national title game. Top 2 guard in draft. 73 - Kelvin Joseph, CB - had an incident as a freshman at LSU, transferred to Kentucky. If not for questions about incident, this guy would be late 1st, early 2nd. Coach him up and he could be a #1 CB 113 - Marquez Stevenson, slot WR - playmaker, Curtis replacement, great fit for Brady offense 151 - Michael Menet, Center - really good in pass protection, but needs to add strength for run blocking. May need to sit a year to get stronger, then replace Paradis. 193 - Israel Mukuamu, Safety - played CB at South Carolina. Very good ball skills, good tackler, good instincts. Needs to play facing the action, and with his size at 6'4" and 210 lbs. I see him converting to safety and could become a steal. 222 - Demmodore Lenoir, CB - nickle CB who will compete for playing time immediately. At worst will be depth and special teams contributor.

Not a big fan of Darnold, but I will support him as a Panther. I would rather have given up all picks in rounds 3-7 next year than the 2nd....2021 is a better and much deeper draft than 2022 is shaping up to be. No depth in 2022

Thanks.... I want a QB above all else, but wanted to do something different. I feel if we pulled out something like my mock we would have a lot of holes plugged. You insert a QB and a couple more pieces into that roster next offseason, we could be on to something.

I know I joked about gaining fans from out West, but honestly I just felt each of those guys were good fits in those draft spots. Sewell is the franchise LT we have needed for a while. Holland is a complete free safety, and a very good punt returner. Holland was a preseason 1st rounder before he decided to sit out for Covid. Scott is a massive space eating NT that plays with leverage and is nearly impossible to move from the point of attack. Guy takes on multiple blockers like a champ. Great fit when we go odd fronts. Lenoir is an underrated, talented CB that I think can have a very good career playing in nickle or dime packages. Will also contribute on special teams.

I am going non-QB draft just to be different. Here I am trading 8 to the Giants for 11, 76, and 2022 3rd. Giants move up for last of top WR. Picks 1-10 went - Lawrence, Wilson, Lance, Fields, Chase, Pitts, Smith, Waddle, Mac, Surtain, we have choice of Sewell/Slater. I am trading 113 and our 2022 4th for 119 and 125. We can sacrifice our 4th since we got the Giants 2022 3rd. 11 - Penei Sewell, T, Oregon 39 - Wyatt Davis, G, Ohio State 73 - Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky 76 - Jevon Holland, S, Oregon 119 - Marquez Stevenson, WR, Houston 125 - Milton Williams, DT, La. Not dumb at all. I think he is the 3rd best prospect in this class, potentially a future all-pro, and it allows us to move on from Robbie to keep from paying him and DJ next offseason. Remember, money saved from not re-signing Robbie can be used for a different FA, win/win. Obviously QB is our top need, and should be priority, but if not available then no problem picking best available.

Really good kicker, though he fell off a little this past season. Another kicker to watch is Jose Borregales from Miami who won the Lou Groza award as top kicker in 2020. With 3 picks in the 6th round, I wouldn't be upset if we took a look at one of these guys.

Yep, most tackles will be gone in rounds 1 and 2. The only 2 possibilities that may be available in the 3rd round would be James Hudson or Brady Christensen. Hudson is actually very interesting with all of the tools and tons of potential, but he is very raw playing LT. Recruited by Michigan as a DE, struggled and transferred to Cincinnati where he moved to LT. Christensen is strong as a pass protector, but needs to get stronger in run blocking. His pro day results surprised me, especially when he broke the broad jump record for Olinemen by 3 inches. Moehrig is a talented safety that I have seen ranked as high as 15th as a prospect. I don't see him worth that type of ranking, I actually think that Grant and Holland might be better than Moehrig. I would not be upset getting one of these guys at 73, or a slight move up like we did for Chinn last year. Safeties later on that are intriguing are Wiggins, Washington, Hufanga, and Cisco
