Eric Fisher is probably the best available
-
He also gets the dropsies from time to time, takes his eyes off the ball in the middle of the field

I'm Disappointed....BUT....THIS....DEFENSE**
TheProcess replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's possible that 2 of them even drop to pick 73, and when you add in Jevon Holland who may be better than all of them, you can most likely get safety at 73 Also, Israel Mukuamu played CB at South Carolina, but grabbing him on day 3 with a move to safety could be a steal of a pick -
Round 2 guys I like.... Teven Jenkins, Sam Cosmi, Dylan Radunz, Wyatt Davis, Creed Humphrey, Elijah Moore, Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah Round 3 guys if there..... Spencer Brown, Jalen Mayfield, Trey Smith, Quinn Meinerz, Landon Dickerson, Jevon Holland, Richie Grant, Rondale Moore, Kelvin Joseph
-
I would add..... LB - Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah Edge - Azeez Ojulari S - Jevon Holland G - Wyatt Davis

That would be absolutely amazing!

What Are You Going To Be Upset About If We Draft A
TheProcess replied to OceanPanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we pick Farley in the 1st round, things will not be safe in my house. -
If we can trade down and get Horn, Slater, Surtain, or Darrisaw I would be good with that. I also like Micah Parsons, the best defensive player in the draft. I really hate reading any interest in Farley. Take away all injuries and I still only rank him 4th behind Horn, Surtain, and Newsome. Now, when you add all the injuries for Farley, there's absolutely no way I draft that guy in the 1st round, no way! You draft that guy 1st round knowing the risk, and then he crumbles, you should be kissing your job as GM goodbye.
-
Agree! In fact, if they can draft a QB tomorrow night, then trade Lock for a 3rd rounder or something, then Teddy serves as the one year vet Bridge guy for the rookie, and they get a better pick from Lock than they give up from Teddy

I mean it could mean they are taking Sewell, but I seriously doubt it. The thinking behind the Sewell talk for Miami..... Last year in Miami LT - Jackson LG - Flowers C - Karras RG - Kindley RT - Hunt In the Sewell scenario after Flowers was traded, Kindley would move to LG where he played in college, and Hunt would move down to RG. They also lost Karras in FA but signed Skura. With Sewell LT - Jackson LG - Kindley C - Skura RG - Hunt RT - Sewell Having Tua as a lefty puts Sewell at RT protecting the blind side.
-
Good question, this is a deep draft
-
The “Deep OT class” may not be as deep at LT in scouts eyes
TheProcess replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sewell and Slater for sure, with Darrisaw being a possibility in the 1st round. The rest of the tackles in rounds 1 and 2 are RT in my opinion. After that, I could possibly see Brady Christensen and James Hudson becoming good LT's with the proper coaching. -
265 - Nick Eubanks 273 - Shemar Jean-Charles 275 - Pro Wells 278 - Mustafa Johnson 281 - Breden Knox 283 - Mike Strachan 287 - Jose Borregales 296 - Damon Hazelton 297 - Jalen Camp All of these guys are ranked in spots that has them going undrafted. If any of these guys go undrafted, I hope the Panthers go get them.
-
I listed Shi Smith and Marquez Stevenson above, it want let me edit, so here are more day 3 guys that I see as potential steals for the Panthers, listed where they have them ranked. 107 - Davis Mills 109 - Marvin Wilson 113 - Jordan Smith 125 - Ambry Thomas 145 - Elerson Smith 147 - Simi Fehoko 150 - Hamilcar Rashed 210 - Trey Hill 213 - Jacoby Stevens 215 - Michael Menet
-
Shi Smith rated at 157, Panthers have pick 151 Marquez Stevenson rated at 190, Panthers have pick 193 If we picked up either of those guys with those picks, what a steal. We replace Samuel with a late round that has potential to match his production while also bringing punt/kick returns skills.

Joe Person on Panthers plans for #8 pick
TheProcess replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Me too! I have him as my #3 CB behind Horn and Surtain. I would be floored if Newsome doesn't go 1st round. If he doesn't, Panthers better trade up from 39 to 33 and take him with the 1st pick of round 2 and celebrate -
I think QB is the only logical course for them. Tgey lost a lot of games they had chances to win last year, and adding another weapon like Pitts makes them just good enough to miss on a top 10 pick for a QB in the future. I think they should take the high upside guy that needs to sit and learn behind a vet like Ryan....Trey Lance

I posted my question just as you posted this
-
Just a question for clarity.....why is Micah Parsons, who is the most talented defensive player in the draft not in the 1st round at all?

TheProcess replied to Hoenheim's topic in 2023 NFL Draft

Are You Really Against Fields or Lance if they fall to #8...
TheProcess replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree, not drafting Mac at 8 Depending who is on the board, I may select or may trade down -

TheProcess replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes....I mean honestly there is a lot if speculation this time of year. The Jets haven't said any more than the 49ers at this point. -
There are a lot of top 100 that could start for the Panthers in 2021.....the problem is who is available at your picks that also carry the value of that draft position.

I know the media is pushing the Zach Wilson talk heavily, but I'm not 100% sold until I hear from the Jets, or actually hear his name on draft night. I still say there is a chance that the Jets go Fields at #2.....you didn't hear anything in the media at all, but the Jets were also at Fields pro day on Wednesday
