Definitely think Rhule is back for year 3, but yes losing games the way we have been will have him on the hot seat entering next year. Rhule inherited a mess from Hurney/Rivera. He and his guy Snow have made tremendous strides and improvements defensively, young talent all over for a chance at longterm success. However, he better realize that focus this offseason needs to be the Oline. Improve the Oline, resign Cam, and see what happens. Also, really need evaluate Joe Brady if he doesn't get a HC offer. Like most of his play designs, don't like his play calling. Point is, Rhule will be back, but he better fix the current problems or he want see year 4

It's been my opinion up to this point to defer to the coaches about Brown. However, I believe it is definitely time to play him. We know the guy can run block, but may struggle in pass blocking. We are already struggling in pass protection with the current guys. You now have a backfield of CMC and Cam Newton, let this road grader make some holes for them. I mean didn't Rhule say he wants to run the ball? The threat of an explosive run game will slow down the pass rush as well.

I'm okay giving Rhule another year to see what happens in year 3, but I am done with Brady as an OC. I believe he is a good play designer, but a terrible play caller. If we decide to move on from Rhule, I would poach from Buffalo the way they did us a few years ago. Hire Daboll as the HC and have him bring Dorsey as his OC. Dorsey is the QB coach under Daboll now, he knows the system already. Dorsey would be a first time play caller, but would have Daboll to lean on when needed.

This 100% accurate.

Is there a QB out there who’s undefeated against Belichieck?

And Tua -
As a secondary Dolphins fan myself he, he is absolutely correct. There has been so much stacked against Tua, but with less than a full season (13 games played) under his belt the kid is showing big improvements.

Exactly! We started 3-0 and people got unrealistic expectations.

Not true, Miami traded their own pick -
When did you give up on Matt Rhule?
TheProcess replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I haven't and I want until I see what the team looks like next year. Year 3 is usually the year for coaches, and it will only be year 2 for our GM and we have cap space finally. The results of this offseason along with the product on the field will determine his fate. Better fix that line -
100% true I was a fan of the Dolphins before the Panthers existed. Still follow and pull for them as a 2nd team. They have 2 OC's currently and have had 4 in 3 seasons. Staff is reported as having lost the locker room completely. Oline has regressed from past year and is worse than ours now. Defense has regressed badly from last year, and Flores is supposed to be a defensive guy.

Between Sam and Teddy? Sign me up for the wildcat offense

Would you draft Sam Howell at 10?

Absolutely not! -
Losing to the Giants - should someone get fired?
TheProcess replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Like who? I mean this firing someone talk is absolutely crazy at this point. Our coaching staff is only in year 2, and our GM is in his 1st year. People are so emotional because we started 3-0 and they thought we were going to the Super Bowl. This coaching staff inherited a really bad team, and that team has been just about remade in 2 years, and after this next offseason we will enter year 3 of the rebuild. Year 3 of a rebuild is when you really start accessing how things are looking. Fix the o-line this offseason and make a decision about Darnold. This team has a lot of talent, but really young talent, especially on defense. I do expect a jump into the playoffs next year. -
All the talk about tackles, but the IOL is horrendously bad! Though Brady wasn't spectacular, he did okay and remember the Eagles have a really good front, and it was his first start at RT. Also, Miller is just straight terrible. Put a competent RG beside him and let him grow and I think Brady will be good.
