Trading Back -- What It Might Look Like
TheProcess replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe not, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was there. I feel talent wise he is top 10 in THIS weak draft, but he plays a position that doesn't see guys picked that high. Creed Humphrey was initially talked about as a guy that be picked as high as 20th last year in a loaded draft, dude was highly rated. Creed was picked at the end of round 2, and has been one of the best centers in football this year. I think I draft Neal if given the chance. If he is gone, I like the double trade back scenario. Take Linderbaum if he's there. If not, take the best available player -
Trading Back -- What It Might Look Like

Trade pick 6 Get pick 15, 3rd, 6th, 2023 1st Trade 15 Get 20, 2nd, 4th Something along this scenario would be great to recoup and add a couple more for 2022. Then we roll into 2023 with 2 1st giving us ammo to go after one of those 2023 QB's Linderbaum being a center us probably there at 20 -
The Bucs won't rest starters, will play to win
TheProcess replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
They NEED to win! Yes the Packers have the bye and home field locked up, but they want that 2nd seed. They want home field until NFC Championship game, and probably need it without Godwin and AB, while also having a depleted secondary. Also, as the 2nd seed they would get home field in NFC championship if somebody beats the Packers. They definitely don't want the 4th seed and travel to the Packers early -
Is this catastrophic? This sounds catastrophic.

Rhule is a genius out here setting records. We fans "just can't see it" -
We should take Kyle Hamilton in the draft
TheProcess replied to RIPTreyLance's topic in Carolina Panthers
Love Kyle Hamilton and would love to have him at FS, moving Chinn to SS where he belongs. However, that just cannot happen. We have ignored offense and this is an offense driven league. Draft Neal with pick 6 or trade down and draft Linderbaum. Best scenario might be, trade from 6 to around 14/15 with a team looking QB. Get pick 14/15 while adding a 2022 3rd rounder, and a 2023 1st. Then trade from 14/15 to around 20 while adding a 2022 2nd. This recoups our 2nd and 3rd this year, and gives us another 1st in 2023. Not always easy to make these trades, just speaking what might be best scenario. -
DJ is looking horrible. Robbie started the year looking like tge worst WR in the league, and hasn't gotten much better since. These 2 guys were very good last year, and DJ the year before last. This has gone from a strength to weakness and there has to be a reason why

Then PJ comes in and throws a pick. Its just a game of duck (Sam) duck (Sam) Goose ( PJ) by Rhule. Thats his genius plan, we just can't see it
-
Chip Kelly? That dude left the Eagles and 2 years later they won the Super Bowl. Then he left the 49ers and 2 years later they played in the Super Bowl. Replace Rhule with Kelly for next year, then get rid of Kelly. Super Bowl 2 years later! Lmao

Panthers would destroy, blow out Alabama and any other college team.
-
Okay. Well probably want matter as I don't see another Panther victory, and Seattle hopefully beats Detroit this week
-
The Seattle pick goes to the Jets. Since we beat the Jets does that mean they pick in front of us?

No doubt Brown isn't performing as expected, and I thought he was actually better/more consistent last year. Now, I'm not calling him a bust yet because of several factors. First off, we knew he wasn't a pass rusher, but thought he would be a run stuffer with occasional QB pressure. Second, why has he regressed? Is it coaching? Third, who is there to help him in the run game? The guys playing DT next to him should not be seeing significant playing time in the NFL. Then on the outside, as good as Burns and Redick are at getting after the QB, they are just as bad at setting the edge. Then you have Carter who is just not the answer at all. When the guy actually does make a read he misses the tackle. Gross-Matos seems good against the run, but dude is off the field more than he is on. NFL teams and coaches see this on film, they know where and how to attack our deficiencies.

Other then Oline other positions of interest to improve?
TheProcess replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Oline for sure QB MLB FS - move Chinn to SS!! I was basically begging to draft Jevon Holland in the 2nd round last year DLine Coaching -

Would love to get Njoku -
And like I said, I do not expect this staff to make the proper adjustments.
-
With Brown and Godwin out, they're now saying that Evans is out as well. The Bucs are without all 3 of their top WR's meaning they probably lean on the run game and Gronk. I expect our defense to play well! However, with this staff I wouldn't be surprised if we are unprepared.

Lions have played tough in most of their games and are trending in the right direction. I absolutely believe they could beat this team. On a side note, 2 of the Cardinals 4 losses are to the Panthers and Lions

Article: Watson did not want the Panthers
TheProcess replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Miami would be dumb to trade for Watson and dump Tua. I agree with you and have always said if they get Watson that we need to go get Tua immediately -
Pete Carroll and technically Barry Switzer. I say technically because Barry won with Jimmy's team in Dallas.

Draft order if the season ended today (pretty weird)
TheProcess replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
I see 4th as the highest possibility. You mentioned Lions and Jags, but the Texans will not catch us in wins either.
