  1. I think it was more quoting the scene from the movie Friday:
  2. Bobcats vs Wizards - in DC.. sitting courtside with my son for under $100.. have never been to the Hive.. need to once Covid is over
  3. Philly is strong in all the areas we are weak.. going to be tough matchup.. Im not expecting a 'W' but want to see improvement from the mini-series we had with them a month ago where they just beat the brakes off us down low.. Zeller was out but idk if he will make much of a difference against Embiid
  4. I don't think one +30pt game from Monk makes Terry tradable now.. he has been the best player for us behind Hayward.. it is a nice problem to have 4 guards who are playing great.. I think Terry is a long term guy for us.. but in Mitch, I trust.. no doubt
  5. NOTE: I'm only going to talk about the key role players. Players locked up long-term: G.Hayward - 4 years $120 mil L.Ball - 4 years $7.8 mil PJ Washington - 3 years $4 mil Players locked up short-term: M.Bridges - 2 years $4 mil T.Rozier - 2 years $18.9 mil Players about to hit the market: C.Zeller - $15.4 mil M.Monk - $5.3 mil D.Graham - $1.5 mil B.Biyombo - $3.5 mil --------------------- expiring total: $25.7 mil Of those expiring - Zeller, Monk & Graham have definite value. Are we looking to re-sign any of them? 1) I think next year we will be starting L.Ball which makes Graham expendable. I think he would be amazing off the bench as backup PG but I don't know if he's willing to take a permanent bench role. 2) I think the relationship with Monk got bad enough that he is looking to greener pastures next year. 3) I imagine Zeller wouldn't be hard to resign if we wanted to keep him on the roster - but I'm all for getting new blood and the starting Center position. With all that being said, instead of just letting them expire - should we flip a combination of them at the deadline for another (long-term) asset? Or do we keep that $25.7 mil for re-signing Bridges/Rozier? Or do you think something completely different?
  6. ugh.. this is so hard.. that is a lot but idk.. maybe.. idk.. do it
  7. yeah totally, my opinion doesn't matter at all.. i was just saying my initial gut reaction to what i was seeing..
  8. i don't think a first impression can be premature
  9. first impression.. he doesn't look confident in his answers or body language.. i'm nervous we hired a "yes man" for Tepper and Rhule
  10. Aight Zeller.. these next few games are going to be real important.. I will be watching our team rebounding numbers like a hawk...
  11. obviously he doing so much better than he predecessors.. luv him but let me just point out the few dark spots: 1 - not being able to find a team to off-load Batum's expiring 2 - not adequately addressing the Center position this offseason (two 2nd Rnd centers is not adequately addressing the position) ..there are a few more but decided that they were too nit-picky to list.. I can't believe those 2 are the worst critiques I can say about a Hornets GM.. it brings tears to my eyes
  12. Stafford > Watson (but lose CMC + two 1st Rnd picks) jus sayin..
  13. Rozier is so valuable to this team.. last year, he was brought here to be the stop gap PG in exchange for Kemba.. Graham forced his way into the starting lineup through his great play and we slid Roz to the SG position.. he is undersized for a SG at 6'1 but still holding his own defensively.. for context, Jrue Holiday (one of the best defensive SG in the league) has a defensive rating of 3.2; Rozier is playing at a 3.4 right now.. if we can somehow pry a Center that can protect the paint and rebound - it will exponentially help our team out all around.. anyways, right now Roz is our 2nd best player behind Hayward.. really like him and think he needs to be retained - long term..
  14. Love your avy..
