  1. I would love to see us go after JaVale McGee - he's on the block in Cleveland and bring exactlly what we are missing - rebounding and rim protection.. everyone talks about Drummond but he is too expensive and we would have to give up too much salary to get him [it's weird that we don't have a horrid contract anymore to try and swap for someone - all of our real $$ is tied up in our best players - thanks Mitch!]
  2. ur crazy.. Terry is better than Oladipo right now.. Oladipo is older and has injury issues, isn't a great 3pt shooter.. trading Terry straight up - let alone in combo with Graham or Monk WITH a pick..
  3. I would want to get more from a future 1st round pick than just Mo Bamba
  4. Yup - scott said it's dead in here and reddit is the place to be.. they def got the memes on lock
  5. Here is the remainder of games in the 1st half schedule for us and the competition + predictions:
  6. I never understood the heat he was getting.. with all the terrible contracts we had been loaded down with for so long I must have been jaded because I was in the camp of - "at least he contributes and brings something to the table".. now I trying to lock him down longterm.. Ball - Terry - Hayward - Miles is a winning backcourt with solid wings.. we just gotta upgrade the bigs [which has been said at nauseam]
  7. No worries my guy.. i disagree but just my opinion.. I don't want to be a cold blanket in here but I don't see us beating any of the top 4 Eastern teams in a 7 game series.. not saying we couldn't grab 2 games and make it an interesting series but we are too young and inexperienced.. I just want to focus on making the playoffs and getting the squad that playoff experience..
  8. ^^that was my initial thought to the above comment..
  9. Chill, it took a double tech on Green for us to squeak out a win against a Curry-less Warriors team.. This ain't even as big a win as the Brooklyn win earlier this season.. we still need to get stronger down low.. I'm thrilled at the W.. just not going ape poo saying we are a 2nd round playoff team.. c'mon
  10. Not sure if good or bad thing right now.. we are pretty banged up and a pause in play could allow us to get healthy..
  11. Gotta get a W against Chicago cus the next week will be rough
  12. The Hawks losing to Dallas makes this hurt a lil less
  13. Zeller didn't play Monk didn't play we went 29% from 3pt range they went 36% from 3pt range they shot almost 50% overall Lamelo went 2/7 and was coming off the bench.. Terry was 1/11 from the field - YIKES!! Graham went 1/10 from the field - YIKES!! Miles went 1/5 from the field.. Tyus Jones averages 8pts but went off for 25 that night.. Kyle Anderson averages 12pts but went off for 25 that night.. Those numbers are horrible and almost impossible of repeating.. not saying we are a sure lock to win, but ya know..
  14. beating Memphis tonight is a very winnable game.. followed by a horrid Minny team.. if we can string a few more before our WC trip - we could be sitting pretty Zeller's presence has really improved the team a lot... weird saying that
  15. I actually think this could be in the cards.. he looked niice in the MNF game when Carr pulled a groin
  16. Just looked at the standings and hovering around .500 will land you the #6 spot in the East. If we are interested in making the playoffs this year - the next few weeks are going to be key. We close out the remainder of the 1st half of the schedule with a West Coast trip. Stacking up the W's now will be important because Feb 19th-26th is going to be brutal...
  17. I have appreciated his hustle.. after turnovers - which he has had a few- he's right back on the ball trying to get it back.. half the NBA players throw up their hands and complain to refs if they get it poked away.. I also like his attitude after the opposing team makes a basket - he is looking to push it down the floor or an outlet pass to Miles.. keep it up as far as Philly - yeah, they have strengths in our biggest weak areas.. Embiid, Dwight and even Tobias Harris are matchup nightmares for us.. they all can put that work on Zeller and Biz on offense and defense whenever they want..
