  1. Thats fair but I would say Lance is a bit more accurate and a better decision maker based on the little I have seen of him.
  2. Their offense is fine but they need a qb and a pass rusher or 2. Picking the 3rd best qb over the top corner would be crazy IMO when Ryan is still playing at a high level
  3. Ditto on a qb working with our staff in developing them but I think Allen is the exception not the rule. I just think JN is the ultimate project with a ton of flaws in his game. Big arm sure, but his accuracy and decision making need a lot of fine tuning. His game against Clemson last year really put things in perspective for me about him.
  4. What do you mean "this good"? Its been 2 practices.
  5. He doesnt have great mechanics, he does have a strong arm but is inconsistent at times and stares down his receivers too much. He is a project in every sense of the word. If the staff feels like he can contribute after sitting a year then so be it but from what I watched at Wake he needs a lot of work.
  6. Its dumb if they pass on some top defensive help (which they desperately need) to get a guy that has to sit for 2 years. It doesnt make sense. ATL is not that far off talent wise and they sure as hell dont need a qb. And his cap hit is pretty substantial for the next 2 seasons. Much like the Packers drafting love, this would make zero sense https://overthecap.com/player/matt-ryan/823/
  7. That means Slater, both top corners, 2 of the top wr's, pitts, and the best pass rusher are all still on the board. Thats a desirable pick for a franchise
  8. I still highly doubt ATL drafts a qb, that would be just a dumb pick
  9. I meant worst case in the qb sense. I think if the draft falls like that we trade down and get more picks
  10. They always do a good job evaluating the top prospects. Their mock draft is worst case scenario for us however. https://nfldraft.theringer.com/?_ga=2.48274534.1931175424.1611760649-2064701403.1610756654
  11. And they need defensive help, corners in particular and they are in the perfect position to choose the best in this draft. Ryan isnt the issue
  12. If, if 4 qb's go in the top 7 (which I think there is 0% chance of happening) but if 4 go in 7 then the value of the 8th pick skyrockets in value due to all of the talent that is sliding down. So in that case a trade back is in the cards. But I truly think either one if not 2 of the qbs are staring at us to choose from at 8.
  13. I am in this mindset as well. 4 qbs in 7 picks is unheard of. Someone will slide. Even if a team needs (or thinks they need) a qb they may evaluate one of the remaining and not fall in love with them. They may sign a vet, they may fall in love with Jones and trade down. I just think we stay at 8 and one maybe 2 drop to us.
  14. Nah, Rhule should have trotted PJ out there to "evaluate for the future". It would have been an easy sale and PJ would have stunk it up.
  15. Last I checked our oline was still putrid with no help in sight. So yeah lets take on another massive contract for an aging qb that has been struggling with injuries for the past 3ish seasons. Sounds like a competent plan. If we dont sit tight at 8 and let the draft come to us then I am going to lose my mind. This poo isnt hard.
  16. He has been working with a private qb coach since the fall. I want wilson then lance. Tell me again why we won against Washington?
  17. It’s a rebuild when you only have one guy under contract that plays on the oline. I don’t count Daley or little
  18. They pick up a first. Move down 4 spots and still get a person they target due to the run on qbs. No brainer actually
