  1. Maybe but there are a lot of guys out there breaking fields down and seeing the same thing. If he was a slam dunk we would have moved to 3
  2. At pick 15 or so why would you want to handcuff yourself to a headache like that unneedlessly? Why not get slater at 8 and know what you have and be fuging done with it. No worries, no trying to improve his mentality, just pick him and let him start for a decade. It makes no sense
  3. The knock on Darrisaw being lackadaisical and lazy at times makes me want to hard pass. Sewell and Slater both want to kill you. Darrisaw just does enough and then stops. Kiper interviewed him on Saturday and point blank asked him about his reputation and darrisaw said it was "the haters". Hard fuging pass.
  4. Its what the numbnuts on this board keep ignoring. Slater and Gross are basically identical players with Slater being stronger coming out. They have the exact same game. Sign me up for another round of Jordan Gross. Bitching about Slaters size is retarded. The kid is smart, fast, strong and can play
  5. Could a 23 year old Jordan Gross play in 2021?
  6. Rhule/Brady put Teddy in so many situations to win the game and he didnt come through. Thats on Teddy not them. Fields slow progression reads, pocket awareness and long delivery are what is being pointed out as to why he is "dropping". All the athletic ability in the world means nothing if you cannot read a defense or get past your first read. Chris simms does a great breakdown on him on Ryan R podcast on the ringer
  7. I get that but how far we going back and for what. Sewell and Slater are day one starters at LT. The next tier not so much.
  8. Maybe but I am still in the "trust Rhule/Brady" mode until they prove me wrong. The issues leaking out about Fields are starting to scare the hell out of me.
  9. Fields is going to drop in the draft. I bet he slides right by us
  10. goddamnit For fugs sake just dont get cute and draft a damn LT. This isnt hard
  11. I'd throw them our 5th or maybe 4rth if Sewell was on teh board.
  12. Who would Denver go with if both are there? Fields or lance? Then I guess the Pats gets the last man standing. I am just starting to really get the sense that the bulk of these teams are not seeing the potential or star power of all 5 qb's that maybe the fans are getting excited for. I truly hope there is a mad run on qb's 1-7 so that pushes Sewell or Slater to us but man I am just not seeing it.
  13. I have a funny feeling that Fields and maybe Lance both drop like rocks. If Lance gets by ATL where does his slide stop? What about Fields?
  14. If they were interested they would have used that opportunity. Don't kid yourself
  15. I like lance. I think he will be there at 8. However he is a long long way from being a nfl starter. That's not really debatable. I also think rhule and Co either didn't like what they saw or didn't want a huge project at pick 8. Maybe both. From what I heard and read this past week it sounds like fields is going to be dropping. Lots of noise about his throwing motion and slow going through progressions. Listen to Chris simms break him down on the ringer podcast
  16. It's a fact that nobody from the Panthers are at his 2nd pro day. That's telling
  17. It’s really that simple. We should have did it last year but hurney.
  18. Physical ability or not. Mac Jones is just a smarter qb than fields. And certainly not the long term project as lance.
  19. How did mahoomes and hill do in the super bowl with a crappy line? There's your answer. How did cam play in the super bowl with a crappy line? There's your answer
  20. IMO the drop from Sewell/slater is substantial. Granted there are a lot of guys in that 2nd tier but they to me have major issues. Whether it’s durability, motivation etc. they all have a knock on them. I am not seeing any knocks on Sewell slater. Pick one at 8. Another lineman in the 2nd. Hopefully a starter at safety in the 3rd and be done with it. For once I would love for my football team to have an aggressive mean talented oline. I have no clue what that feels like to not worry about your qb being decapitated each week.
