I think the only fact that came out of that poo show is the fact that Brett apparently likes beer.....a lot. -

But the old woman is taking half. -
I am just saying there is a chance. Lance is a good 2-3 years away from being a quality starter if that. I like the dude but I am going to trust the staffs judgement. He is 20. Played in just a handful of games and that obviously was at the fcs level. I am just saying it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them pass on lance at 8.
-
Yeah man, I am not sure about that. I doubt Lance is #1 under any circumstance. Maybe fields but it seems teams are souring on him after evaluating. Probably Wilson would go #1 and a hard no on Jones. But just based on recent history 3 of the 5 will most likely flop out because they land in crappy situations without proper coaching. If our staff feels like they can develop whoever is left then so be it if not I will not be mad making the 8 pick work whether its a tackle, surtain or trade back

I am loving the chance to potentially get slater. Dude plays like an animal. We keep speculating about which qb falls to us but we are not considering if the staff likes them or not. It could be a real possibility that we pass on lance and/or fields. We shouldn’t be picking a qb for the sake of picking a qb.

Isnt the knock on Darrisaw is that he gets lazy? Yeah, no we already have Greg Little. Get Sewell or Slater, both are animals and be done with the tackle position for a decade.

M&M: QBs we are not talking about much (Mond/Mills)

After doing another deep dive on Mills and watching the youtube guru, man he looks good. Smooth, fast release. His passes explode out of his hand. Very accurate. Just lacks experience -

yep. I would go oline, oline in rounds 1 and 2 and be fuging done with it. Although I would rather burn our 3rd on Darnold than these 2 -
This is the exact reason they are not drafting a qb at 4. They screwed themselves with weird contracts https://theathletic.com/2492753/2021/04/02/nfl-draft-quarterback-carousel-is-mac-jones-the-49ers-guy-wholl-be-left-for-panthers/ "The complications start with Ryan’s contract, which was recently restructured to take his cap number from $40.9 million in 2021 to $26.9 million. By converting $21 million of Ryan’s salary into a bonus, Atlanta gained some initial cap relief but also added $7 million to Ryan’s cap numbers in 2022 and 2023. When the move happened, some people initially thought it signaled a future commitment to Ryan beyond this season. But it was always going to be difficult for the Falcons to carry Ryan for nearly $40 million with the cap settling at $185 million for this year. Nearly impossible, in fact, with other spots on the roster to still be addressed. If Atlanta does decide to move on after the 2021 season, Ryan would bring a $40.5 million dead cap hit. That’s a massive number, but it’s still $8 million less than Ryan is set to count against the cap next year. Trading (or releasing) him would also save the Falcons nearly $24 million in cash in 2022. The dead-cap total is huge, but it’s not necessarily prohibitive."

I would love to see something like Sewell/Slater at 8, Tucker/Davis/Humphrey in the 2nd. Then maybe Mond/Mills in the 3rd (or hell see if the jets bite on a 3rd) and see if Brady can develop one of the 3. You at the very least have your offensive line set for a decade. We have to fix the line this year. No ifs, ands or buts.
