What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)

Do yourself a favor and count the number of starting qbs picked from the 3rd round on and see how that works out for you. -

I don’t dislike him at all. I just know he cannot be relied upon going further -

the preseason is only one aspect to a already huge mound of issues with him. Its been said ad nauseam on here but I will post one more time to hopefully get through to you guys. The odds are already beyond astronomical for a 3rd round pick to pan out as a franchise guy. Add to the fact the he comes from a simplistic college offense, with a rep for being injury prone and having a smaller frame for the nfl and oh yeah he is currently out for the year with a serious foot injury that has plagued other players consistently in the past and you now have why folks are down on him. Then throw in his shitty play in the preseason and you have the full picture. One more time disclaimer: Rhule totally fuged this kid. He should have been #2 on the depth chart from the jump and we more then likely wouldnt be where we are now.(in regards to arguing about him) He would be playing and either showing he could make strides in the nfl or be tripping on his dick. As it stands now he is a total unknown and in no way can he be trusted as a nfl starter going forward or even in the qb plans by a new staff. -

The bandwagon for Grayson McCall

Was at the game last night. McCall is a damn good player. Tough, navigates the pocket like a pro, has command on his offense, he showed last night he can change up his speed on passes when he has to. He does look a little lean and he didnt ever throw just an absolute laser but his arm looked strong enough. I recall at least one deep ball he threw that looked nice, wish they would go deep more. Not saying he should be in the top tier but it is surprising more people are not talking about him -
Him not wanting to play here would be disastrous but I have to think we have some sort of assurances from him that he wants to resign here.

Just like with Trask and just like with strong. Your record is immpeachable. -
For sure but in regards to a hypothetical trade we will never get 2 firsts again
-
His value plummets when he signs the deal
-
something like a 5 year 150mill with 80ish guaranteed?
-
Couple that with the fact that we arent winning this year and highly likely we are doing anything next year so I will stand firm that we should have taken the deal, it just made too much sense for the timeline of this franchise
-
Hill in miami is showing he is worth every penny but your point does stand and I agree.
-
His deal is super team friendly and "only" 37 million guaranteed. Again where we have gotten in trouble in the past is giving out stupid deals that are hard to get out from under with a lot of money locked in.
-
Not only is he better he is way more durable
-
Because it shows how much we "value" him. And in regards to the FT it looks like it will be north of 20 million in 2024. Its a lot but not back breaking. I think the overall guaranteed money he will be looking for could be crippling down the road. That in the past, is always where we get ourselves in trouble

Between this deal and us turning down 2 firsts burns has crazy leverage on us now.
