okay, not to knock you specifically but the overall general consensus was "yes he signed here" but that only means he gets the max and then in 2 years he can still request a trade while getting paid. I get this is how the nba is structured now but if he doesnt like how the hornets are being built he can do like the numerous other players and simply ask for a trade. Seems like the entire system is broken especially if the only saving grace is the original team can give the max contract but even then there is a workaround. Not knocking the hornets or the player but more in general of how things are set up, Ball is in a win win situation no matter what he did. That seems fuged up to me

All things considered the hornets (MJ) were completely tone deaf given this team and cities history with out of control athletes. And the fan reaction last night is exhibit A that I am 100% right. Watching mitchs PC its clear as day that jordan overrode everyone and made the pick. Maybe he works but the overriding point is MJ is a complete buffoon and a horrible horrible owner. LOL Mack and Bone literally just said that in order to interview Miller the hornets had them to agree to not ask any questions about the incident. fuging cowards. It also seems possible—if not probable—that the Hornets picked Miller over Scoot Henderson because Henderson is a point guard and the team already has LaMelo Ball. This isn’t football! You don’t need to worry about your depth chart with the second pick in a stacked class! You need to take the best player on the board, and most draft analysts felt that was Henderson, not Miller. The Hornets fan base seems to agree.
