I mean the optics certainly blows considering we heard they were stepping back. Maybe they know the fanbase hates them maybe they dont. Its tough to totally get on board with this new regime if you think the teppers are still pulling the strings. One way to alleviate that, simply tell the team that put this together to not focus on them. Simple. Again its minuscule all things considered but it doesnt really give us faith that they are truly stepping back. Nobody gives a fug who you like in the draft nicole.

I think the Teppers and panthers media is completely lacking self awareness all things considered. Given whats transpired say in the past 18 months or so, you would think they would tell the people who put this together to keep them completely out of it. From the national perspective it appears that way. Feel free to disagree but the from the unbiased view points this year probably will be ugly again. From the Athletic: Carolina Panthers Under 5.5 (-105) Everybody loves guards. Who knew? The Panthers spent $150 million on guards Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis, and people are pounding the over, betting this number up from 4.5. While Bryce Young will take less than the 62 sacks he was hit with last season, and Diontae Johnson should prove to be a reliable target, I don’t know if I see three more wins than last season. I didn’t love the draft haul, there will be some growing pains for new coach Dave Canales, and Brian Burns was a big loss on defense.

I will go to my grave thinking that some qbs simply need to sit for a spell and not start immediately and that having multiple head coaches and oc's in the first few years is a sure fire way to ruin a qb. Having to learn new schemes, new terminology etc while having to learn to lead in the nfl is simply too much for the majority of qbs. I know it sucks for the fans but look at KC situation. That had a great vet mentor to mahoomes and simply let him learn with absolutely no pressure in his rookie year. Not sure why more teams are not following that model.
