For the nfl I like maye slightly more then williams but you cannot deny calebs arm and athleticism. He does however hold the ball far too long and overly tries to make big plays instead of taking whats there. I think he will be fine in the nfl. In regards to riley, his offense produces big numbers but he also has big time qb recruits playing for him. That doesnt hurt, moss was like a top 10 qb recruit.

Eh, Rhule landed on his feet nicely and I doubt anyone is feeling sorry for Reich. I think smart teams/coaches know that tepper is a buffoon at this point.

for me it was A) why they past on him, B)how they past on him and C)when they past on him. None of it made sense and I said so at the time and was blasted because folks were saying zoom interview are the new normal. Sure maybe for a standard IT position but not for a head coach in the middle of a playoff run and being hammered with questions from 15 or however many people and some of those with little football knowledge. Going under the assumption that fitt is gone here. While I dont think Bryce is a "leading us to the #1 overall pick" type of player I still see the uphill battle he has for 2024. I still think this team has a ton of holes and might regress overall before we get better. Luvu could walk. Burns could be traded. Shaq may be done and we still need some quality corner depth. And I will not waste any more words about the offense as we know where the holes are. I think with our cap space and limited draft capital it make take more then one offseason to right the ship. Now Bryce and these players will be learning another new system while adding more (hopefully) skill players and olinemen. There is also a pretty high chance the new coach simply sucks, it happens every year. So with all of that said as we sit here today, yeah its premature but would you bet on this team winning more then say 6 games next year? Then if that happens you have some big decisions to make. and "skeptically optimistic" is a great phrase for young on 12/26. edit to say - if for some reason fitt is still here we have a really decent shot at #1 overall next year as that dumb fat fug doesnt know what he is doing clearly

If you think about it, the mr "in on every trade" strategy of quantity over quality for where this franchise was never made sense. We need more good/great football players not simply bodies.

But the fact that no team even tried this go around is fishy. I mean for fugs sake tepper was seemingly all in on watson and he didnt even sniff around on this. Seems weird. Ravens could have always matched but seems odd to let another team dictate terms for your star qb. All in all we will never know but I would have a slightly higher opinion of Fitt if he leaked that he at least inquired.

But you can negotiate prior to the offer. We will never know but I personally think it was a coordinated plan by the other franchises to not offer him a huge guaranteed deal because of the fall out from haslam trade/deal

not sure how tie breakers work but if we can get to 4 wins I dont see the cards beating philly or seattle, we just need to beat Jacksonville and see what happens with the bucs, they could possibly rest their starters if things break right for them

Getting off that #1 is priority 1 for. Just figure out how to win the next two and see what happens.

He had elite coaching in high school, he had elite coaching at exclusive qb camps in California, he had elite coaching at bama and he had seemingly elite coaching in the nfl this year. And yet through all of that his mechanics and footwork are piss poor. Now why do you think one off season it’s going to magically change?
