    they were set to pay higgins a boatload of money and then draft oline, they are trying to set up maye for success early. I never bought the travis hunter to the pats hype, they absolutely have to protect maye and getting the best pass blocker is a no brainer

    factoring in the horn and moerig signing the panthers should have around 140ish million next year of salary cap, I think next off season (BY year 4) is when we should be making the big moves either signings, trade or both. I like milton but just wasnt crazy about paying him 27 per. Build organically through the draft and attack next year.

    The talk from the past month from the beat guys was that Horn wanted to be paid top5, the Panthers didnt want to break 20 million per and as of just last week the sides were far apart. I wonder what changed over the weekend?
