  1. slightly off topic and I agree he is tough but that is not sustainable in the least, they have to massively improve this season in protecting him, call it luck or whatever but its amazing he didnt get seriously injured with some of the blind shots he took. I seriously doubt he (or any other qb) can make it through 2 seasons of that
  2. ATL had just drafted ridder and smith was comeback player of year. Neither team was picking a qb.
  3. And it also took brees 4ish years and a hof coach to really super charge his career. If that has to happen with bryce then we really screwed things up
  4. I think his height may have been an issue as he missed a lot of open wr's it seemed like every game and by missed I mean the wr were open and he didnt see them
  5. Corley is def a dawg, but he is getting projected from rounds 2-4, snagging him in the 5th would be awesome but I doubt he falls that far. I wouldnt mind loading up on oline and then grabbing him in the 4rth. He is one super aggressive wr from what I have seen.
  6. yep, not sure why we rushed to do the trade, why not simply wait until the draft started to see how it was playing out
  7. alright after looking at his spotrac details and considering his age and since we are def not winning next season, the best way to approach TM is to simply let him play out his existing contract this season and bite the bullet on the 29 million. The dead cap goes to 12 in 25 so thats reasonable. He is just getting too expensive for this franchise to plan on especially at his age. He probably would want an ext but it wouldnt be wise for us to do that. Restructuring his deal just kicks the can down the road and at some point we are going to need cap room to fill out the roster but it shouldnt be this year
  8. Trade down at 33 if price is right. Too many holes and not enough picks
  9. moton costs 29mil against the cap. They got to figure out something with him
  10. Good coverage? Come on dude he had him by 3-5 yards. Not a tight window
  11. the threads are out there but as a rule we cannot bump but you are 100% right and couple that with Teppers words about distribution, not need wrs, his love of analytics etc it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know how things went down.
  12. we have new leadership, its not some crazy curse that stops us from drafting good wrs. We have to trust the front office.
  13. I get all that but it would be nice for once to go the home grown route instead of going for a quick expensive fix. I just wish we would do a rebuild the right way for once. Sure he is a good wr but I think bryce needs a speedster not another big body a la mingo.
  14. There is so much bullchit in this post I am not even sure where to begin.
  15. I think the overall point in all of this, if he got to even that point as a nfl qb prospect then you are already starting way behind the 8 ball with his development probably best to let another team try to figure that out. Thats why I believe stroud had the season that he did. He was mentally ready due to some major adversity that he handled well early in life. MC had a history of acting out, sometimes violently sometimes with substances as a way to placate whatever was going on. Same with guys like manziel etc. The are not mentally mature enough to behave even as an adult and far far from a starting nfl qb
