BREAKING:Panthers re-sign Chuba Hubbard

BREAKING:Panthers re-sign Chuba Hubbard

Not sure about the texans but the cowboys didnt even try. They thought Zeke was the answer. Jerry jones is stupid and you can look around the league to see lower drafted guys producing. Like I said the his contract isnt bad but the allocation of resources to that position is head scratching. Personally I would never give a 2nd deal out as they rarely seem to work for us. i would perpetually be drafting a guy in the later rounds. -

why limit it to rookies? What did chuba do his rookie year? -
Past and future QB review with Dane Brugler
mrcompletely11 replied to Martin's topic in 2023 NFL Draft
I totally disagree with Dane that its simply a confidence issue and not size. Totally disagree. What has happened is that bryces arm strength, mechanics and inability to consistently see the middle of the field have put him at a severe disadvantage which in turn bryce obviously knows by now and doesnt mentally know how to fix it due to never having to face adversity. And if we are being honest there really is no "fix" to it. Coaches are going to have to scheme around his deficiencies for the rest of his career and I suspect its a huge reason Canales simply wants to move on. not worth the time His size is absolutely an albatross around his neck -

A)its not going to be bryce next year B)there is no way in hell this franchise trades again for a guy like Jones

IMO you absolutely never sign a qb as a free agent. They are easy to find in the draft -
BREAKING:Panthers re-sign Chuba Hubbard
mrcompletely11 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
the hit next year is 31 million which is kindof nuts so the only way around that is to extend him or get him to agree to a paycut which aint happening. So seems to me they are lining up for next season to be his last. Which would be fine since he would be 31 and is expensive as hell. I dont remember so I will have to go back and read about the deal but damn why was it so back loaded to start with? -

He is just saying you can find really cheap guys to produce in the nfl at the RB position -
BREAKING:Panthers re-sign Chuba Hubbard
mrcompletely11 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean the deal isnt that bad I admit, but its just curious for a lot of reasons. I seriously doubt he would have gotten that on the open market and I really really didnt want to put anything else against our cap until we get out of 2025 but again its not much. The really odd thing is how much draft capital we have given up for 2 running backs while only 1 has played. A 4rth, 2 fifths and a second. 4 picks just seems like a lot given this team and the holes on it. Personally you could have let him walk and more then likely duplicated his overall production in the draft and just start again. -
Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not but the Jags are not trading Lawrence under any scenario and I swear to Buddha if we trade for Daniel Jones and his contract I will delete my account and cease to ever follow this dog poo of a franchise

Their game plan was down right stupid. Allen stopped running the ball when they were getting 5+ yards every play. The long pass on the last drive was like he was trying to get fired.

Cowboys Trade for Jonathan Mingo
mrcompletely11 replied to PantherBoy95's topic in Carolina Panthers
"We aint found poo" -
Ive been on the trade down train all year. Its the only option in my mind. Just load up on rookies and hope some hit. I am trying to remember what it feels like to not be red lining the cap year after year after year. Clear the books and then build the team. No since in paying folks since we are not close anyway
