None of that has anything to do with what I was responding to. The poster said Jackson and Murray have been healthy. I pointed out they have not been healthy.

Murray hasnt been fine. 2 seasons now have been derailed late in the year due to injuries and his refusal to run. Once that is taken away his results drop. Murray was hit last year on a blitz and then hurt again at the goalline and hit his shoulder. Jackson was hurt this year scrambling and rolled his ankle. Murray was hurt again this year scrambling and turning his ankle pretty severely.

Cam was a bonafide athletic freak. Willis not so much

I have no idea why people keep saying this. We cant simply just "trade down" unless Fitt is going for pennies on the dollar. We didnt take the Bears haul last year and now we have an even better draft pick.

Murray and Jackson missed time just this year due to running. Murray also got banged up in his shoulder last season from running. Give me an accurate pocket passer in the burrow mold that knows how to navigate things when pressure is coming.

With Rhules history of performance and draft picks along with Darnolds history of performance and draft picks there is no selling anyone anything. They both suck and have history of extremely high draft picks in the past and there is nothing on this roster that leads me to believe this is a 8ish win team. If we end up slightly out of the top 5 we are more desirable to trade up as a partner because whoever is 1 or 2 or whatever isnt dropping back. Sure we would have to give up another 1rst but at least you have something now to build on.

We tried last year and nobody gave us "value" for that pick and that was in a way better qb class and we are higher in the draft. Unless Fitt is going pennies on the dollar I dont see us moving But then again we would be sitting pretty if we had taken the bears deal we would have 2 picks in the top 7 and that would solve a lot of problems

Its not about being a darnold fan, its about making Rhule fix his mistake and not overdrafting some scrub qb to try and save his job. Tepper should be like "hell no dough boy, you gave up assets for darnold, said he was talented, now go make it work"

It all comes back to how things were in the past. Like last year posters (bunnchinn) were absolutely adamant that 5 qbs would go in the top 5 when its never been done before and of course it didnt. Thats why trading for darnold was dumb because the analytics said we would have our choice of 2 to 3 of the qbs. As for safeties the last highest one I remember was Mincah Fitzpatrick and he went 13th. Hell Darwin James went late teens. Hamilton may go top 5 but I seriously doubt it. I think he is more 10ish range
