^ 100% The panthers have all the leverage in this situation. My brain says that this deal gets done by the deadline, probably for a bit more than they would like to pay him but it gets done. With the cap going up in the next few seasons it probably makes sense to overpay him slightly now.

I can see wildcard if a few of these things happen. Winston is winston and cannot get his poo together. ATL is one of the worst teams in the league as a few analysts are prediciting (I dont think this happens) and the important one is that father time finally drop kicks Brady and he falls off a cliff. I can easily see all three happening especially if ATL's defense takes another step back and if those things happen Carolina is primed and ready

Thats semantics and you know it. How about this, we didnt draft a potential NFL LT. Whereas over in LA the Chargers picked Slater and already has given him the LT position. Now I like Horn especially if he has shades of Ramesy but at some motherfuging point we are going to have to use a high draft pick to select a LT. Look at the playoff teams look at the super bowl teams from the past half dozen years and you will see a theme.

Maybe, but having 3 LT's and a ton of other holes seems like a crap strategy much like going wr for 3 years. How did that BPA strategy work out?

I said at the time the Sewell pick for the lions made no sense and it looks crazier now that they have moved him. They could have gotten the RT jenkins in the 2nd if that is what their need is

IMO 2 of the 3 are doable. I do think we have a top 10 defense this season. The denver 2015 defense was insane (as was the 2015 Panther d) the lone exception was miller was playing like a man possessed and could disrupt entire offensive game plans. Burns isnt there........yet
