  1. Again, we've been all aces trying to sign bodies to build our oline.
  2. Tepper and his analytics are smart enough to know that no qb being pressured 50% of the time is going to win many games
  3. For fugs sake, how many times are we going sign some bum in free agency only to have it blow up in our face? We've tried it, that method doesnt work. Look at all the great lines in the nfl, do some research on where there studs were picked.
  4. Yep, I am scared of drafting a rookie qb in the first and having to ride him out for at least 3 years hoping, praying he is not a bust. And then having to start completely over with a new guy and probably new coach as well. And granted its early but so far from this vaulted qb class of the 2020 draft its looking pretty rough as well. I would much rather build the time line and see what Darnold can do without running for his life 50% of the time. Nothing against horn but I still have no clue why in the hell we didnt get slater. If our scouting dept dropped the ball on that then someone needs to be fired. Kid is the real deal right out of the gate
  5. Nah, some guys want to draft a 6ft 200lb qb from some religious school in the mountains that hasnt played anyone in 2 years
  6. We've tired it every which way except drafting a quality one in the first. We are not good at throwing money at line free agents. Bite the damn bullet and pick a fuging LT and be done with it. Seems like we had pretty good success the last time we did it.
  7. I dont understand how people dont see this yet. Its mind blowing.
  8. I still think we are picking in the high teens. I dont want the 3rdish qb off the board. Plus this class as it stands now looks abysmal. I think if they pick a qb in the draft it would be picking one for the sake of picking one. Fix the fuging oline and lets see how the next qb does instead of doing the same thing over and over and over
  9. Kyler just got hurt......again. Thats why I am pretty much out on the willis kid. I dont trust this smaller qb's. If Sam continues to struggle I still think they go oline in the first knowing Sam is here for 2022 no matter what. It would be just idiotic to use a first to get a qb knowing this line isnt going to get fixed anytime soon as we are out of draft picks.
  10. We would have to give up 3 firsts to get him. There would be no way to improve this team by doing that and he is walking into the worst oline situation he has ever dealt with
  11. This was discussed yesterday, the dude is 25. How much more learning and growing is really feasible?
  12. On one of the cox sacks Daley literally steps to the side and lets Cox into the pocket untouched
  13. On a side note, how bad must greg little be if he cannot even get playing time in this horseshit oline?
  14. What fuging game were you guys watching yesterday. Not saying I am totally throwing in the towel on BC but damn he was overpowered the entire game. Sweat straight bullrushed him all day. I probably will do another rewatch tonight to really laser focus on him but my initial thoughts were that he was backed into Darnold a bunch yesterday causing him to hurry
  15. He is not strong enough to play LT in the NFL. That much is apparent to me
  16. Granted its early but he has looked terrible
  17. I am sure there is a plan b. I dont see it but I bet deep in their minds they have an idea of what may have to happen. However I think the staff can probably trick themselves into thinking that his play is probably a by product of how crappy the line is blocking for him. And they probably not wrong.
  18. I said it during the draft process that it was pretty obvious that we didnt think highly of Fields, Lance or Jones. I suspect Fields couldnt process defenses fast enough, Lance is too green and Jones has major limitations.
